Stay alive! No matter what occurs I will find you!

Hi Readers!  My little sister, Lynelle, and I have a long standing argument on what is the most romantic scene in any movie.  I one hundred percent believe it's from An Officer And A Gentleman when following the morning after Paula (Debra Winger) gets a bit up in arms with Zach (Richard Gere) and she tries to leave the hotel room.  She tries and tries to open the door but to no avail.  And why? It's because Zack is standing behind her his arm raised above her holding it closed.  Then he zooms down for a kiss on the neck and I'm sorry Reader's but that's all she wrote!  I LOVE THAT SCENE!  Basically I love that movie but honestly to me it's the most romantic.  GAH I love how Richard Gere kisses, the way he holds onto the woman's face with his hands--heaven I tell you!  Sheer, freaking, heaven!  Lucky Carey Lowell!

Lynelle disagrees with me.  She thinks the most romantic scene in any movie is from The Last Of The Mohican's when Hawkeye (Daniel Day Lewis) and Cora Munro (Madeline Stowe) are about to be separated.  The are hiding in a cave behind a waterfall--okay I'll give her that, THAT is freaking freaking romantic, and about to be caught.  This is what Hawkeye says to her "No, you submit, do you hear?  You be strong, you survive. . . You stay alive, no matter what occurs!  I will find you.  No matter how long it takes, no matter how far, I will find you."  Okay maybe those words are alot more romantic than just bending down to kiss someone's neck but still I'm not caving in and I think my movie moment is more romantic lol!  Still The Last Of The Mohican's what a freaking fantastic movie--GORGEOUS scenery.  And really what a wonderful book with a tale full of love and loss.

I'm feeling the Native American roots I so wish I had today Readers.  The theme in the 31 Day Challenge today is tribal and here's what I came up with

I thought about trying my hand at freehand, but then really who do I think I am, so I settled for stamping and I think it turned out pretty good!

I thought about earthier colors as well, something more Aztec like but really I liked the red, blue, yellow and white together a lot more.

I'm glad this is a weekend because I really don't think I would wear this at work lol!  My friend Lizzard (Lizz) is wanting a tribal mani though so this might be right up her alley!

As you can see I did some striping with red, blue, yellow and white, then I stamped using images BM314 and Mash-42.  It didn't take nearly as long as I'm sure most of friends took freehanding theirs LOL!

Let's see what's up tomorrow in the challenge shall we??!!!!
Ahhh glitter my nemesis--I saw that because I'm not a glitter fan.  It's not so easy to stamp over glitter so I'm usually not a huge fan.  I hope I can come up with something cool!

Do any of you have a favorite romantic scene from a movie? Care to share?

Thanks for stopping by!!! I hope you all have a fantastic day!
