Hi Everyone! Happy Tuesday to all. On Sunday I was lucky enough to spend the day with some of my nail polish friends. We met through a group on Facebook over a year ago and have been having fairly regular get togethers to do our nails and eat yummy snacks. Usually we just do one hand so we can try lots of new techniques or borrow plates we might not have. It's just so much fun.
I wanted to work on the this week's theme in the Advanced Nail Stamping group which is a scene going across all 5 fingers. This is a totally new challenge to us as we've never had that one before. I mostly focused on doing scenery mani's while the other gals did whatever the heck they wanted LOL! Omg usually we die laughing over something and this time was no different.
Today I'm showing off the first of 3 across all 5 nails scenery mani's I did. I used the new holo's from 10.1 Polish Disco Ball, It's Raining Men and Night Fever--all of these are named after 70's music/theme--for my gradient and then stamped with FUN20
As truly simply as this mani is I do believe it's quite striking.
Dancing couples on my thumb!
All all across my nails. The only downside to doing nails at someone else's house is your lighting isn't what you're used to.
I really love how clean and beautiful this turned out. What do you think?? Would you consider this a scenery mani or when you hear of scenery are you thinking of the great outdoors??
Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you all have a fantastic day!

The Digit-al Dozen Does Childhood--Monkey See Monkey Do Monday--@cassis_p !!!
Hi Everyone!! Happy Monday to all! This week is Childhood week for the
Digit-al Dozen. I'm pretty sure we are going to see lots of different interpretations for this week which is always exciting. For me I totally looked at this theme as being something that reminds me of my childhood. How amazing is it that I can finally do a mani I saw Cassis P do awhile ago and have it fit in with this week's theme???
Trust me IT IS AMAZING!
So here's my back story before I post the pics of my mani. When I was a young girl it was my dream to be a missionary in Africa where I would ride along teaching the African natives all about Jesus in my Winnebago. I was really into the TV show Tarzan with Ron Ely when I was young so I just knew if anything were to happen to me in the safaris of Africa like a lion trying to eat me or me falling into quick sand I could just call for Tarzan and he would save me. Enter a young girl's heart crushing when her father had to tell her that Tarzan wasn't real. I think I was more terrified of slowly drowning in quick sand than the lions attacking so that reality smack had me giving up the missionary life pretty quick.
Nothing says a father's love like a man having to crush your dreams LOL. My poor dad you know he just wanted a boy in there somewhere but that didn't happen.
I have fond memories of the time I wanted to drive around in my Winnebago in Africa though and really did love watching Tarzan as a young girl. I'm sure it had a lot to do with the fact Cheetah was super cool and who didn't want a monkey as a pet when they were a kid???
My mani today is a Safari silhouette with a huge shout out to Cassis P on both youtube and instagram for being the brilliant one to come up with this way cool effect!
This was definitely a labor intensive mani as you have to use the decal method and believe it or not this is just black stamping over white and then some sheer jellies sponged over it to give it color!
I followed Cassis' tutorial on youtube and it was actually really easy to do. If you haven't seen her tutorial you can find it HERE
I've got an ostrich on my thumb!
MoYou Explorer 23 plate has some really awesome Safari images I'm sure I will use this plate often
Getting my gorgeous Safari colors was really easy with the sheer jellies from 10.1 Polish too.
Here's a picture of the mani Cassis did and the one I fell in love with when she first posted it
So there you have it, day 1 of the Digit-al Dozen Does Childhood for me a reminder of the time in my young life when I wanted to cruise around in Africa and hopefully being saved by Tarzan.
I'm going to head over and see what my fab friends came up with for Childhood week!

Stained Glass!
Hi Everyone!!! Happy Friday! And it is a glorious Friday at that! I am happy to report no coughing at all so far today! Yes that is cause for celebration! My strained voice is finally gone, no more coughing and I'm pretty sure I can smell again. I sure hope so since tomorrow I'll have corned beef cooking in beer for several hours!
A couple of weeks ago I was thrilled when I received the entire Bridal Collection set from Messy Mansion to review. Messy Mansion has been doing exceptional plates for sometime now and this Bridal Collection set is no exception. They are the perfect size for my nails width wise and plenty long enough for my long nails too. Not to mention they are etched to perfection!
I was really eager to get started on doing some mani's with them and then BAM struck down by cold from hell. So naturally since I was feeling a lot better last night I sat down to start working with them. I picked the 04 plate right off the bat as it has some really unique images on it. With the help of some sheer tints from Polish 10.1 I did some leadlighting and came up with this fantastic stained glass look!
I stamped over Milani 3D Holographic Hi-Tech and then did some added leadlighting with 10.1 Polish in Blueberry Blue and Lemon Cupcake. As it turns out Lemon Cupcake is not that visible in the light LOL!
If it was a sunny day out I'd get out there and get some pics outside but nope cloudy as all get out today
I really do love how this turned out! The ease of a dotting tool made this leadlighting easy to do too. Leadlighting is actually a technique the stamping world took by storm after Julia from Messy Mansion first coined it
I love this image from the Messy Mansion Bridal 04 plate. It is perfect for a stained glass look and it has a ton of potential with decaling as well. I know this is an image I will use again.
Messy Mansion plates can be found on their site HERE as well as through Amazon.com
If you're like me--too lazy to make your own sheer tints--you can find the 10.1 Polish sheers HERE
Thanks so much for stopping by!!! I hope you all have a fantastic day!

Roses in Winter
Hi Everyone! Oh My Lanta I've been MIA for a bit! Sorry about that but I just sort of fell off the face of the earth with no real reason lol! It might be the crushing Packer loss or the fact we got a freaking foot of snow this past weekend with more to come! UG!
Today I have a beautiful mani to show you that I did with FUN 13. A few months ago the very lovely and super talented Johanne of Fab Ur Nails posted this gorgeous mani she had done using FUN 13 and some sheer tints over a holo. I just fell in love with it so HAD to try to recreate it. Johanne is not only a dear sweet friend she has been my inspiration for many, many beautiful mani's.
Here's my recreation of her stunning roses!
I started off with a base of China Glaze Sexagon and then used my fabulous sheer tints from Polish 10.1 to recreate this mani of Johanne's
Isn't this just a gorgeous mani?
When you leadlight with sheers you can do so many things!
This is Johanne's mani
I just love everything about it and have always loved her beautiful long nails!!!
Here's a picture of ours together
Gorgeous aren't they?
10.1 Polish has clear jelly sheers as well as some sheer holos! They are just awesome for leadlighting! If you'd like to check them out you can find them HERE Kelly has a lot of great polishes and is always coming up with new things!
I'm so glad to call both Johanne and Kelly friends and thanks to both of them for their inspiration!

Go Pack! Go!!
Hi Everyone!! Tonight is the Packers vs Vikings game and my little sister and brother in law are on their way up there! Of course it's supposed to be rain, rain, rain and more rain BUT Packer fans never care about the weather! It's always sunny at glorious Lambeau Field!
So today to support the big game I did a Packer mani featuring my new custom Packer plate and Packer polishes! Packer plate is courtesy Fig Tree via a group buy in The Adventures In Stamping Facebook group and the polish is courtesy 10.1 Polish.
This is my custom made Packer polish named 52 Shades Of Clay. It has yellow hexes, green squares and black circles. I just love it! If you're looking for a custom football polish of your own give Kelly a shout out at 10.1 Polish
This is the custom Packer plate created by Fig Tree
Picture taken before my mani hence a purple thumb LOL!
And here's my mani!!
I think it turned out great BUT it was challenging! The full word image did not want to stamp well. I had to try several times before I got it to go and even then it doesn't all fit on my nail. But I'm sure with practice I'll nail it.
Here's my thumb!
What do you think?? Is this a winning mani or what???!!!
I can't wait to watch the game in the comfort of my living room completely dry!
Go Pack!! Go!!!!!!

Mesmerizing Gradient
Hi Everyone!! I hauled out one of the new Marianne's plates I got awhile back and decided to give it a whirl and the results are pretty awesome! I started with a gradient using some of the Icing polishes from 10.1 Polish. The Icing collection is a fantastic collection you can use to leadlight. I know the rage right now is everyone making their own sheer polishes but these are exceptional! They are made with pigment so instead of just adding some clear to a color you get a more pigmented jelly with these. I really love them!
I gradiented with Blueberry Blue, Lemon Cupcake and Cherry Blast. I put down a base of white first as I wanted these to be brighter. Then I stamped using my Marianne's n04 plate and the results are really cool!
The Marianne's plates are great for me. The images are too wide and the length is perfect
And it wasn't even hard to get the image centered so that all the nails look uniform
I might try to hypnotize people at work with them today!!! LOL!
Thanks for stopping by!!! I hope you all have a fantastic day!
