Hi Everyone!!! Happy Hump Day!! Today I've got something on good enough to eat! I got a few Nails Inc's in the other day and I just love them! Nails Inc polishes especially their cremes are soooooo dreamy. Since we are definitely into Fall weather here I grabbed up Fenchurch Street and Cadogon Square and did a cool swirly needle drag
These colors look great together and are just perfect for this time of year!
I love how my thumb turned out too!
I first saw this cool needle drag look over on Sveta Sanders Instagram. Have you seen Sveta's stuff? It's amazing! Check her out HERE I promise you, you will get tons of great ideas from her!
As much as I enjoy the warmer weather of Summer I'm glad we are slipping into Fall. Dark colors are so much more my thing. How about you are you neon for life and happy to see the return our the dark vampy colors?
Thanks for stopping by!!! I hope you all have a fantastic day!

Working these hours is a drag---needle drag that is!
Hi Everyone!!! Happy Hump Day!!! I'm working some long hours these days and will be from now until after the first of the year. 10 hours to 12 hours a day doesn't give me a lot of time for myself, which I hate! It gives me less time for nails which I hate even more!
Last night I was trying to think of what to do for today and since I had just received a package full of the OPI Bond Girl sands I wondered if you could needle drag with them
So I tried it!!!!!
Turns out you CAN needle drag with textured polish!
I hauled out OPI Solitaire and Tiffany Case and added Zoya Sunshine and London to match my work blouse!
First up some pics without flash
Not the greatest combo of colors I know but it totally matched my work blouse!
It's hard to take a pic yourself--especially so it's not just a boob shot!
I snapped some pics with flash too
I may try this again only stamp over it!
If you have some textured polishes get em out and do some needle dragging!!!!

Monkey See Monkey Do Pinterest find!
Hi Everyone!!! Happy Monday! I got to do some shopping with mom on Saturday and we got some tops for 70% off! I'm sure they were meant to be summer tops however it's still fairly warmish here and I can layer all of these with a black cardigan so winner winner chicken dinner!! I found an awesome pic I had pinned ages ago from Pinterest and was even able to toss in an untried for this mani to go along with one of my new tops!
This was just a simple needle drag mani using Sinful Colors Snow Me White, Zoya Shelby, and my untried OPI Give Me Moor.
Give Me Moor is a deep black cherry jelly. I'm not a huge fan of jellies but since it was opaque in two coats I can live with it!
I did the swirls on both the ring and thumb
I think needle art was the first type of nail art I ever attempted and that was nearly 13 years ago!
And in this case I was too lazy to get up to search for an actual needle so I used a teeny top dotting too!
Here's a side by side with the pic I found on Pinterest--no name to credit and I HATE when that happens!!!!!!
It's going to be a super busy Monday for me today BUT I'm hanging with my little sister after work so I know that will be a good time!!!

How Blue You Do?
Hi Everyone!!! Happy Monday! I decided to look through the stash and haul out some untrieds and some favorites this week! I feel like I'm getting buried alive in the untrieds! I decided to start with my first problem color--Blue and do a week long of blue! Let's see how cool and interesting I can keep it!
First up I pulled out Sinful Colors Sugar Rush, OPI Swimsuit Nailed It! (my favorite blue) and Hard Candy Mr Right--pretty much the only Mr Right I'm ever going to see is on my fingertips LOL! I kept it simple with a way cool needle drag!
These types of mani's look complex but they are SO easy!
Start with your basecoat, add two coats of Sinful Color Sugar Rush then while everything is still nice a wet draw a line with Mr Right on the right leave a nice space of Sugar Rush in the middle and then do a nice line of Swimsuit Nailed It! on the left. Take a needle or a small dotting tool and simple drag in a zig zag motion across the nail!
The thumb turned out the best I think!
This is an easy way to get some cool nail art!
I've got a lot of different blues--creams, shimmers, holo, neon, frankened, glitter, suede--you name it I got it!!!
I think this will be a fun week!

Digit-al Dozen Does Books--Day 3!
Hi Everyone!! Happy Hump Day! I have to say I'm glad we're in the middle of the week because I am ready for it to be over. I'm just pretty tired and feel like lazing around a bit. This weekend we are celebrating my grand nephew's birthday though so you know there won't be any lazing around for Tee Tee Laurie!
Today I based my mani on the cover of one of my favorite books ever. It's actually a tie because I love them both so much. I re-read this book ALL THE TIME!! Usually once a month. Yep re-read it from cover to cover, laugh at the same spots, cry at the same spots and get butterflies in my stomach at the same spots.
The name of the book is See Jane Score by Rachel Gibson. It's the first in her Chinook Hockey series and it's just to die for delicious. The heroine, Jane, is a reporter on assignment with the Chinook's hockey team. The hero, Luc "Lucky" Martineau is the team's goalie and an a number one hot hunk! How these two get together is a funny and super sexy story.
I just did a simple needle marble with Zoya Wednesday and China Glaze Flying Dragon, Purple Panic and Flip Flop Fantasy. My accent nail is Sinful Colors Unicorn and Zoya Wednesday with some stamping in Butter London Knees Up.
Here's the book cover
I think I did pretty good!
Let's check out what my co-horts have come up with!

Monkey See, Monkey Do Monday--Pinterest find!
Hi Everyone! I have to keep this short and sweet this morning! My hours at work change starting today so I'm on the lovely 7am to 3:30pm schedule. The only problem is we sprung forward yesterday AND I got about 4 hours of sleep total last night! UG!
I'm keeping with my green theme for this week and switched up the colors on a cool needle marble I saw on Pinterest
I used a couple of Sinfuls--Last Chance and Innocent in addition to Zoya Meg
I honestly didn't think I would use Innocent too much it's sort of an ugly green but honestly it's really pretty lol! And I got it for a buck and you just can't beat that!
To achieve this look I painted my nails with Sinful Innocent the light green, then I did a stripe of Sinful Last Chance the dark green on each side and did a stripe of Zoya Meg and another stripe of Innocent next to Meg. You simply drag your needle from side to side.
This is a quick and easy way to do some cool nail art!
Here's the original picture I saw on Pinterest. Magda used purples which turned out very pretty!
Thanks for stopping by!! I hope everyone has a great Monday. I'm looking forward to a nap when I get home!

Happy 4th of July!
Today is Independence Day for Americans so Happy 4th of July everyone! It's a gorgeous, but hot, day here. I'm hoping to spend some time with my little sister and our grand nephew. I was up at the crack of dawn sleeping in until about 7am lol! I got some cleaning done, got some blogging done, and now I'm hoping to read some hot cowboy romances! Woot! Here's my mani for today's big day!
Even though I have tons of stars plates and even some stripes plates I wanted to do something different for this "stars and stripes" day so I went with needle marbling
Both hands actually turned out pretty similar which made me happy!
Needle marble is such a fun and easy process! I hope you all try it sometime!
A few of my friends got together to show off their 4th of July mani's too! Check 'em out!

Summer Challenge--Hippie, retro
Hi Readers! Today's Summer Challenge theme is hippie, retro, summer of love. I'm old BUT not old enough to be a hippie--well I guess there is no age limit on hippies but I'm still not one lol! I decided to go the stereotype hippie and do some tie dye nails!
Then because it's me I had to do some stamping!
Far out man!!!
You might recognize this as a technique I've done before--needle marble. It's SUPER easy! You just drag the needle across your nails for this design. I wanted to use rainbow colors but my green just didn't work and my nails weren't really wide enough to use all 7 colors lol. I settled for China Glaze Salsa, OPI Atomic Orange, Zoya Pippa and Pure Ice French Kiss.
It's pretty groovy!
And here's the latest list of the Summer Challengers!! Check em out when you have time!

Summer Challenge--Pink and Blue
Hi Readers! Now don't lie but tell me what's the first thing you think of when you see or hear pink and blue? For me it's babies. Yep babies. I see or pink and blue and BAM my mind goes to babies. So with the challenge today being pink and blue I really wanted to think outside the box. I'm a huge blue fan but pink not so much. I'd just done and tape mani so I said hmmmm what haven't you done in a while. NEEDLE MARBLE! Yep needle marble it is Readers with pink and blue
This one's pretty easy and straight forward. I used a base of OPI Alpine White then used Cult Nails Time Traveler and Jesse's Girl Breathless for the needle marbling
I actually love how the ring finger turned out best BUT I actually re-did it lol! I think I like it better using small dots instead of large ones like I did with the other fingers
Have you needle marbled yet Readers? I was doing this before I got into stamping! So easy and it looks really cool. The key is wet polish, do one finger at a time AND don't use fast drying polishes!
I think this could look really cool using red, white and blue for the upcoming 4th of July. We'll see if I give it a whirl!
Lots of ladies doing the Summer Challenge, be sure to check them out!

Throw Back Thursday--Tie Dye!
Hi Readers! My friend Amber recently posted her tie dye mani on her blog and it reminded me of a tie dyeish mani I had done this summer using neon.
I got TONS of compliments on these nails when I wore them and while it might look hard to do it really isn't! I did a stripe of each of the 4 neon colors I had (make sure it's a fairly thick coat) and then take a needle and go side to side across the nail. You want to do only one nail at a time as you don't want the polish to start to dry.
I'm not really a huge fan of neon but I have to say I did like this mani. My friend Amber's Tie Dye mani is fantastic--please make sure you check it out here.
Short and sweet today readers! Thanks for stopping by! I hope you all have a fantastic day!
