Happy New Year's Eve!

Hi Everyone!  Here we are on the eve of a new year!  How exciting!  It seems crazy how fast time has flown and here we are at the end of 2014 when it seems like it barely started!

I wish for nothing but the best for all of you in 2015!

Here's my New Year's Eve Mani.  I am wearing Azature Boudoir Black Diamond--a gift from my wonderful friend Gina, with a coat of Nailed It Confetti Falls which is a glitter topper, then I stamped with BM02, BM-H14 and BP-12 in silver and gold

Happy New Year!  Here's to a great 2015!!

Monkey See Monkey Do Monday--Sveta (again)

Hi Everyone!  Happy Monday!  I'm showcasing another way cool mani I saw over on Sveta Sanders Instagram.  I get a bigger crush on her as every new mani is posted  by her!

This one looks easy but it wasn't!  I just don't know how Sveta gradients the way she does because I have a heck of a time with these "sideways" gradients!  Today I've got on CND Vinylux Cream Puff and 6 Harts Mountains Nights.  I topped it with OPI's The Man With The Golden Gun
I have the hardest time with these types of gradients so I think this is something I will practice on and hopefully master in 2015!

I stamped with MoYou Sailer 07
I like how you can still see the gold flakes through the stamping
You can find this design over on Sveta's Instagram page--she is amazing!

I'm working on an idea for New Year's Eve next--hope you'll tune in to see what I come up!

Whew!!!! I survived!

Hi Everyone! Happy Sunday!  Holy cow what a month December was!  I was averaging 90+ hours a week between 2 jobs in December but thankfully the rush is over.  Now I have some time to sit back and relax and play with all the new plates I got and some new polishes too!  I felt sort of  bad for my postal carrier.  On Christmas Eve Day I got just about every single plate I had ordered and my stock up on Seche Vite and Rejuvacote and a couple of Christmas present packages from friends to boot.  My son was home that day and told me he had to have a bin just for all my stuff!

HOLY MOLY!

I haven't really done much because once Christmas day hit my body sort of went on shut down.  I think it finally realized I didn't have to work so much so it tried to recoup all those hours lost that month in one day.  It didn't work LOL!  Yesterday  I had  big plans to get a lot done and that didn't happen either.  Today I finally feel like I have some energy.  And it's a good thing too since I'll be hanging with my grand nephew for a couple hours today before heading home to catch the Packers vs Lions game.

Awhile ago I snagged this super cool and totally awesome polish From Paint B Box Polish.  It's a totally unique color and full of blingy goodness!

I love the name!!!
This one of the polishes in the Dragon's Are A Girl's Best Friend collection.  I'm partial to this one as it's Game Of Thrones inspired--Khal Drogo forever in our hearts!!!

I did some stamping with HeHe 003
Really loving how the stamping and the polish come together on this one!
Mesmerizing!!!
Good news too!  The polish is still available over at Paint Box Polish!!  Stop over to see what other goodies she has

I hope everyone had a great holiday season and soon the new year is upon us--I'm planning on something super blingy for New Year's Eve how about the rest of you?

The Digit-al Dozen Does Winter Wonderland--Snowflakes

Hi Everyone!  My last day is late--I've put in 85 hours this week so I'm dragging my rump just a bit  BUT I still have a smile on my face!

For my last day I just went simple with China Glaze Sexagon and LA Girls 3D in  Brilliant Blue and some snowflake stamping from BM H20 and MoYou Festive 02 & 03.  I stamped with Mundo de Unas white and navy--and perfection!
This is so simple yet just gorgeous!
I don't know about the rest of you but I just loved this week!  I think it was one of the best themes we've had!

The Digit-al Dozen Does Winter Wonderland--Winter Trees

Hi Everyone!

I saw a black and white picture of some trees in Winter and I just fell in love with it. At first I didn't think I could do it so I  begged Sheila from The Pointless Cafe to do it for me and she was like get out of here you can do this yourself.  So I had to try and it didn't turn out to  bad!  I paired my trees with the lovely Zoya Oswin for a simple but lovely Winter look
I think you know by know I like to use decorative plates as inspiration, this is the picture I found, I really think it's lovely
I do think I  need to work more on free hand but I am getting better

Heading over to see what everyone else did!

I have a really cute snowy scene for today using my new  Born Pretty Store BP-01 plate with the lovely Zoya Geneviev stamped with Mundo Holland Blue--these two were meant to go together!
I really love how this turned out!

The Digit-al Dozen Does Winter Wonderland--Cardinal In Snow

Hi Everyone!

I did a gorgeous decal today and am SO happy with how it turned out.
I did a base of Dandy Nails Chilled Down and then topped with Red Dog Designs The Snowmen.   I had to work hard to keep the snowmen out though LOL!
I stamped using Bundle Monster  BMH02 another great winter time plate.

This one is simple but really looks awesome!

The Digit-al Dozen Does Winter Wonderland--Wolf In The Woods

Hi Everyone!  Happy Monday!

I am sorry I've  been absent but I am doing 14 hour days this month and working 7 day a week.  I kind of come home and fall into bed these days LOL!

Awhile ago I did a seasons mani and just loved the look I created so I decided to pull it out again and switch it up a  bit.  I started with a base of Zoya Ibiza and then sponged on some Natty and Sally Hansen Brisk blue using the saran wrap method of dabbing on.  Then I just stamped with my BM 407 and  VL2 plate for this wolf in the woods mani

My wolf doesn't look too fierce lol!
Maybe he needs a smaller nose!

I just love this BM 407 image of the winter trees!  I used this image alot and never feel bad about it.

Winter isn't really upon us yet in Wisconsin which is sort of crazyl  We've had  below zero wind chill temps in November and some snow but now it's warmer.  That's okay I'll take it!

I'm going to go check out what everyone else has for their day 1!!!

Thankful for being a girl!

Hi Everyone!  The Advanced Nail Stamping group had a theme of thankfulness all last week and I sort of felt like I had already been there done that LOL!   But then I got to thinking as I was looking through my new plates and I decided I am very thankful to be a girl! I love girly things, I love makeup and nail polish, I love to wear dresses and high heels and I think all girls should be treated like princesses.

I got some help from a MoFaux plate on Elevation polish to create this look!

This is the first time I've ever done a sideways mani, it looks good in pics but sort of funny head on LOL!

So today starts my no days off until Christmas.  I'll do my best to post on the blog  but sometimes Facebook is easier. I might have to do some recaps from Facebook posts.

Thanks so much for stopping by!! I hope you all have a fantastic day!

Something A Little Different

Hi Everyone! Happy Monday! Today I've got on something just a little different.  Honestly I don't know whether this mani is totally fantastic and amazing or just pretty ugly. I actually think it might be a little of both!  I wanted to do something  to celebrate the harvest and I ran across a picture of a platter or plate online and decided to try to recreate it.  Here's the image
Since I got my Born Pretty Store plates in I decided to use one of them for it.  The new  plates from Born Pretty Store are FANTASTIC!  I just love them!
I used BP-17
What do you think?  Fantastic??? or super ugly???
I honestly just don't know!  I think it might be both!

Here's everyone all together
I might just like this better as a platter than as a mani!

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you all have a fantastic day!

While Visions Of Snowflakes . . .

Hi Everyone! Sorry for my short absence but this is the time of the year for me when it's a little crazy.  Between 2 jobs I am working 14 hour days  and weekends AND still have to find time to do my nails!

I will try to post as often as possible!

I have this lovely mani to show off I had on the other day.  I just did some easy white snowflake stamping over Nails Inc, Cadogan Gate
I really love how sparkly Cadogan Gate is!  It's just stunning and perfect for Winter!
I got a zillion compliments on this mani, I wish it had  looked better in the pics!

I used MoYou Festive 01 plate which is nothing but snowflakes!!! It's pretty awesome.

We are having a pretty dang cold November.  Thankfully we are having snow like poor Buffalo, NY is!

Thanks for stopping by!  I  hope you all have a fantastic day!

The Digit-al Dozen Does Thankfulness--COURAGE

I had a very difficult time yesterday trying to find something to be thankful for.  I heard the news the very lovely and very courageous Diem Brown lost her fierce battle with ovarian cancer.  Diem, a young woman of only 32, reminded me SO much of my own beautiful sister. Lisa.  Both of them were young woman when they were struck with deadly cancer.  Both of them fighting for 8 long years.  Both of them losing their beauty and spirit to the ugliness of cancer.

But then this morning I remembered something both of them had taught me--what it is to have COURAGE.  Out of the darkness there will be light.

Today I am thankful for courage.  I am so thankful for how hard my sister fought, if she hadn't I would not have had 8 more years with her.  I am thankful for the journey Diem allowed us on--she shared her story and words of encouragement through blogging during her long battle.

And because of COURAGE today I am thankful for all my friends who are cancer survivors.  The road is sometimes very long, and very bleak, without courage there would be no strength to carry on.

Today's Digit-al Dozen Thankfulness is dedicated to all of those who are fighting cancer and who have lost their battle--I am thankful for the courage you have shown us all.
