If ain't broken don't fix it!

Hi Readers!  I'm sure by now you have figured out I "love" a lot of things.  I love stamping.  I love magnetic polish.  I love foils.  I love crackle.  Face it readers I have a hard time remaining faithful!  My mani today features my deep, deep love for the black shatter!  I love, love, LOVE black shatter!  It looks great in mani's and it looks good when making nail polish jewelry. Today is your lucky day because I'm going to show you both!  First up the nails!
As you can see I'm on another half moon mani kick lol!  I can't help it now that I have the round labels it's just so much easier to do and it finally works!  This mani is white with black shatter over on index, swear, and pinkie (yes I did call it the swear finger!) and on the thumb and ring finger I switched it up and did white crackle over black.
This is a super simple mani and an easy way to get nail art without doing a thing!  The Shatter is OPI in black and and Crackle is Pure Ice in white.  I just love how this looks.
And check this out readers! Here is a bracelet and matching ring I made awhile ago--it totally matches my mani!
And here I am modeling it!
I've said it before and I'll say it again I'm not over crackle!

Thank for stopping by!  I hope you all have a fantastic day!

Do two rights . . .

Hi Readers!  If two wrongs don't make a right do two rights make a bada$$ mani??? Why yes! YES THEY DO!  I know it seems crazy and inconceivable that I messed with my gorgeous glass fleck water marble from yesterday but I did just that.  I say looking at my sparkly, twinkly mani and thought--what would this look like with Black Shatter over it??
BAM!
How does it look??? It looks freaking fantastic that's how it looks!  Oh Shatter if loving you is wrong I don't want to be right!
This is just spectacular AND it's still mega sparkly!
Both my thumbs look great!
Left Thumb
Right Thumb
Here's my lovely collage!
Here's a before and after pic--really they both look great!
You'd think I'd stop while I was ahead but nope I kept on going!
Check out the matching jewelry I made for this mani!
Bracelet
Rings
Here they are together!
What do you think Readers? Was I crazy to cover up this awesome mani after only one day or did I make it even better???!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you all have a fantastic day!

Monkey See, Monkey Do Week Sequel--Adventures In Acetone!

Hi Readers!  Today I'm featuring one of the sweetest gals I know!  Jacki from Adventures In Acetone is a real sweetie.  She is fantastic at nail art and the queen bee of "cutesy"  I really wanted to do one of Jacki's mani's and then I started panicking because really I can't do one of hers lol!  THANKFULLY she also stamps!  The other day she featured a gorgeous mani her hubby Wesley picked out for her to do you can see it here.  That's something that Jacki and I have in common!  We both have a Wesley in our lives!  I really loved the look of her mani so I was so excited to recreate it!
Just like Jacki I started with 2 coats of Zoya Mimi but I didn't have Orly Sweet Peacock so I sponged OPI Swimsuit Nailed It instead and then stamped with Sally Hansen Chrome Pen is silver.  I love this mani!  Here's a nice close up!
And of course I took a shot like this
After looking at this mani for about 30 minutes I got a great idea!
I decided to make a ring
Then after starting at my matching ring and  mani I decided to make a bracelet
Here I am "modeling" all three!
Man did these turn out great!

Here is the side by side comparison shot
Hahahaha! This is Jacki's hubby Wesley and my chinchilla Wesley! I told you we had something in common lol!  Now tell the truth readers which Wesley is the cutest?????!!!

Here's the real comparison pics lol! Jacki is up first
I foolishly didn't get a shot like this (probably because I was too busy staring at my matching jewelry with it) so I turned a pic sideways lol!

All in all this was a fantastic mani and it could be the highlight of the sequel week--the matching jewelry really frosts the cake though!

What do you think about the jewelry to match the mani readers--too much or too cool?

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you all have a fantastic day!

Elven magic and I'm not talking Keebler elves people!

Hi Readers!  Are you getting sick of green yet????  I have to say I for one am not!  I'm featuring another foil from Dollar Nail Art today but this time I'm also letting a gorgeous green polish shine right along with it!  Igor gave me Morbid eons ago and I've never worn it! OMG the horror!  This is a GORGEOUS polish readers!  You'd think someone who owns Illamasqua Viridian might not say a less than $3 polish is gorgeous but Morbid is far from morbid readers!  If you love green and you can get your hands of a bottle of this DO IT!
Here I have a base color of Morbid and then I did a little more than half the nail with a foil called Elven Gold--it's magical!
I did full coverage with Elven Gold on my ring finger and then stamped the cross image from BM01 hoping to get a Celtic Cross look.  I like it alot!
Here's some history on the Celtic Cross.  It's a cross with a circle around the to p of it.  The lore says when St Patrick first came to Ireland to teach Christianity to the Druids he learned they worshiped a large round stone.  He drew the symbol of the cross through the stone to draw them to Christianity.  It is known as the Celtic Cross.  The Circle represents no beginning or no end (eternal life).  It is worn by many today as both a symbol of their faith and their culture.

I've been busy these past few days too readers!  I've been making rings and bracelets up the wazoo.  Here's a cool ring I made that sort of matched the color and design of this mani
Here's a picture of the sets of rings and matching bracelets I made.  I really love how all of these turned out!
I'm running out of greens readers!  This might be a catastrophe lol!  I hope I can keep it up for a few more days!

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you all have a fantastic day!

Jewelry for your nails!

Hi readers!  Today I've decided to highlight jewelry for your nails--and by this I mean nail polish of course!  I don't know if I'm the only one who feels this way or not but I wasn't all that excited when Cult Nails came up with the whole "Unicorn Puke" limited edition number bottles.  Honestly I'm not going to wear anything with "puke" in the title on my nails.  BUT Clairvoyant I can definitely "do".  Clairvoyant is a truly gorgeous multi colored flakie polish with a hint of purple.  I was lucky enough to get it on the Black Friday sale for less than $10!!!  Maria does a truly fantastic job creating some gorgeous colors if you haven't ever ordered from them before or have never seen the colors they offer you can check them out here.

Here I have two layers of Clairvoyant over the lovely OPI Ink
Here's a picture of it with flash because I always like to take pictures in light or with the flash as it does change the appearance of the polish
Isn't it just gorgeous???  I usually stamp my mani's but this is so pretty it needs nothing more!

I also make nail polish jewelry so I made some pieces using Clairvoyant
I'm not sure what I was thinking when I set these pieces on my rocking chair to snap a pic of so please excuse the colored background lol!

I tried to get a picture of me showing off my ring with the my mani but it's a bit dark, still I love having a matching ring for my manicure!

And last but not least is my favorite pic of me and Clairvoyant!  My nail polish buddy Crystal and I were both so excited to get Clairvoyant that we were doing the count down to who's going to get it in the mail first.  We decided we would wear it on the same day with the same underwear.  She got hers a day before I did but waited for me to wear hers--wasn't she sweet????.  Here is our picture--the Clairvoyant Wonder Twins!

How do you feel readers?  Did you get one of the limited edition bottles of Unicorn Puke or did you get the lovely and "normal" named Clairvoyant?  Or are you checking out Maria's site right now to get a bottle of this gorgeous polish?
