Hi Everyone!! Happy Tuesday to you all!
I decided to haul out another purchase from Polish Con Chicago and pair it with a cute Halloween mani I did. Sky Theater from Girly Bits is to die for gorgeous and I could not wait to wear it. It's a blackened plum jelly full of holo micro glitters, ultra chrome flakies and it has a ton of purple to teal shifting shimmer. This baby is just so stunning!
Girly Bits was really close to the front door at Polish Con Chicago 2016 so I behived it over there to snag this baby!! She was 2nd purchase after Darling Divas for me
And how cute is this little Halloween scene I came up with!
My cute cat and bat friends just hanging out
The fence is all free hand! Yes be amazed by this skill LOLOLOLOL
Sky Theater is the perfect name for this Girly Bits because it's another one of those galaxy in a bottle colors
I love how sometimes simple art can make a big statement
I feel like I'm doing pretty good with my Halloween mani's so far, still I should try to get some Fall mani's in there too don't you think?
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you all have a fantastic day!

As close to tropical as I get
Hey Everyone! Happy Saturday to you! I spent my entire morning running around grocery shopping a little over 3 hours 3 stores and my freaking pedometer decided on me! The jerk! After all that time walking and loading up the cart and unloading the cart it said I walked 113 steps WHAT IN THE WORLD?! Clearly I need something better than my cheap ass free pedometer LOL
But that's all behind me now. I am taking it easy for the rest of the day. I walked all week last week and will probably take a walk later in the early evening but for now I'm relaxing and reading. I found a new to me author I just love so I'm spending the day reading a couple of her books. Elle Casey is her name and even though she writes in the dreaded 1st person I just adore her books!
This is the mani I'm sporting today. I got a lot of compliments on at all 3 grocery stores. I'm not sure by the kid at DQ might have been checking them out too. I had to indulge in a small iced coffee after all that shopping!
I tried out all of my new Girly Bits stamping polishes on this mani Ker-Minty Frog Here, Pardon My Periwinkle, Coral Reef and Silly Daffodilly
I stamped with one of my MoYou Tropical plates over my base of OPI's How Great Is Your Dane
A good brown creme is SO underrated!!! I just love this OPI it's so smooth and yummy
I know I keep saying I'm going to get better lighting set up at my new apartment but really one of these days I am going to get better lighting!
I really love these Girly Bits stamping colors they are going to be great for some summer stamping for sure!
I hope you guys are having a great Saturday! Thanks for stopping by!

Better Late Than Never!
Hi Everyone! I've been sort of slacking in posting my mani's lately UG. I will try to work harder to get that done. I'm a pretty big procrastinator and sometimes that works to my advantage. I bought Girly Bits Jiminy Christmas several months ago with the sole purpose of using it in a St Patrick's Day mani but then I never used it! UG it is SO gorgeous too. A really pretty bright kelly green micro holo glitter. It would have been awesome for St Patrick's Day LOL. Well St Patrick's Day is long over but I hauled it out and put it on and did some really simple stamping with Marianne's XXL3 and Mundo de Unas Avocado
Taking pics inside without the sun doesn't really do this cool polish justice
Isn't the name adorable????? I love it!
This could almost be a dragon mani!
I think out of all the Mundos Avocado is my favorite. It's such a cool green. Plus who doesn't love avocados???
I love finishes like these, I'm all about the sparkle!
I loved this mani so much I even thought about wearing it a couple more days but we are going to the Shedd Aquarium on Saturday so I had to do some kind of under water scene LOL.
What do you think? Isn't amazing how simple stamping can be so cool sometimes??
That's for stopping by!! Hope you all have a great day!

The Digit-al Dozen Does Spring--Pastel Chevrons
Hi Everyone! Well did you all survive Daylight Savings Time? I thought I was going to be super tired but I wasn't at all. I think a lot had to do with the fact I had the delish Cinnamon Dolce coffee from Starbucks at work yesterday. There are a few of us who like flavored coffee so we have quite the variety going on there. I'm hoping tomorrow we can try the Dark Chocolate Truffle I bought.
Since I survived Daylight Savings Time I'm happy to report I had time to do my day 2 mani last night LOL. I decided to go with some pastel chevrons.
I started with a base of Girly Bits Love Your Elf which is pink nude with shimmer. Sadly the shimmer didn't really pic up with my camera. I used several Mundos for the stamping Peach, Mexican Pink, Velvet, Sky Blue and Lime. Chevron plate good old FUN 5
I used to say I didn't love pastels but honestly I really love them. I think I love Fall and Spring best for nail polish colors
So glad to be able to stamp the wavy chevron because UG tape mani's or vinyls nope just cant not do them
You might be able to see a little bit of the shimmer in this shot
Not leaving well enough alone I added some Bunny Ears
Meh not sure if this makes it a cuter mani or not
So day 1 was refreshing! Not everyone did flowers woot! Let's see how day 2 goes!

Celtic Duochrome
Hi Everyone Happy Hump Day! This day did not start out well at all. The city is on a boil advisory where I work due to a power outage and something about the psi level and blah blah blah. Needless to say no water means NO COFFEE in the morning! OMG it was like fate worse than death around there for awhile. Thankfully I survived and am totally prepared for tomorrow. I will be making my Caramel Chaos at home and bring a delicious thermos of it with me to enjoy tomorrow morning LOL.
Awhile ago I got some really awesome stamping polishes to review for Girly Bits. Being an avid stamper I was thrilled when Pam asked me if I would review her new stamping polishes. While there are lots of indies out there making nail polish there are only a handful making stamping polishes.
Some people wonder if they are the same as regular nail polish or are they truly different. I would say with Mundo de Unas those are strictly stamping polishes, they are too thick to wear as a regular polish. Some of the other indies such as Hit The Bottle and M Polish you could definitely wear as both the polish and the stamping polish. Same here with Girly Bits while they are intended to use for stamping they are thin enough to wear as a regular polish or use as a gradient. Pam made both metallic colors and cremes. Personally I am a creme girl but when I saw the bottle of British Racing Green she sent me I almost died. It is a gorgeous metallic shimmer Forest Green. I just love it!
I thought for quite some time what I could wear it with and then BAM March hit and I was like YASSSS some Celtic nails are perfect for March. Well really they are perfect for any time especially if you love those designs and images and I truly do.
I hauled out an oldie but goodie Catrice Genius In A Bottle and then stamped with the British Racing Green with my FUN 13 plate. It is pretty dang stunning if I do say so myself!
First up I'm going to post the bottle shots so you can see what I'm talking about
It's quite lovely
I had forgotten all about my Genius In A Bottle
Just a fantasic duochrome with it's golden bronze to green shift
sooooo pretty!
I think these colors were meant for each other
I had absolutely no trouble stamping with Girly Bits British Racing Green. I used the crystal stamper I bought from Girly Bits to stamp this image and it was so easy to line up and get the center of the image lined up on the center of each nail. The best part--if you make a mistake you can pull the image off with masking tape! I love stamping polishes that do that!
Girly Bits has several stamping polishes available in addition to the crystal stamper, stamping plates and some awesome nail polishes as well as treatments and base and topcoats. Exceptional products, exceptional customer service. If you haven't yet check them out please do so HERE
It's been warm here for the past 2 days so I really should be thinking about some Spring mani's but right now I can't get off my Celtic kick!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you all have a fantastic day!

When it's right!
Hi Everyone! Happy Saturday! I'm celebrating doing a whole lot of not much this weekend. Yesterday was my 53rd birthday and when you get to be my age a birthday isn't really much different than any other day of the week LOL. What was great about it is I had a wonderful day at work with my coworkers. They were incredibly thoughtful with Sally's and Ulta gift cards as well as a gift card to Olive Garden. Last night I went out with my family to Cheddars and as always we had a blast. Today my son is taking me to see Deadpool and then out for Chinese food. Don't anyone tell him I'm not really a comic book movie kind of person--I don't even know how the heck Deadpool is but it will be a great time to just get time with him so I'm all in.
A couple of weeks ago I asked my friend Pam from Paintbox Polish if she could do an Elvis inspired mani for me. I was trying to go for the iconic looks of his gold lame' suit as well as his black leather from his 69 comeback special. I asked Pam if she could do a black matte with micro gold glitter and she totally nailed it! When I got my bottle of it I was so freaking happy! It's just perfect and you know when it's right---it's right.
So for my birthday I decided to wear it when one of the images I just love from the new Girly Bits GBC 1-01 plate. I think it's the most unique image I've ever seen on a plate. It's a star made up of musical notes! Honestly this is the best birthday mani ever! Check it out!
Here's the polish you have to excuse the faded label I held this sucker in my hands so much and took it everywhere I went for a good 3 days before I put it on LOL!
It's named Edge Of Reality after my favorite Elvis song which just happens to be from my favorite Elvis movie Live A Litte, Love A Little
How cool is this mani???? It's matte but sparkly as hell!
Don't you use love this image from Girly Bits GBC 1-01 plate???
Not familiar with the suits of Elvis' I am talking about here there are
Oh yeah baby check out this all gold hunk!!!
And there is absolutely nothing wrong with this hunk o burnin' love in his black leather either!
I think the polish Pam made nailed these two looks perfectly!
100% rockstar mani today for sure!
I've put this little collage together and yep just what I wanted!
I'm not really feeling very Valentine's Day so I think I'm going to keep on my Edge Of Reality and put on shiny topcoat and then see what stamping I feel like over it. Nothing better than lazing around and doing an extend a mani!
What do you think? Do you think this is a perfect Elvis inspired polish?? I have 3 in my collection now--2 from Red Dog Designs and this one from Paintbox polish--honestly the possibilities are endless!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you all have a great day!

Pam Slammed!
Hi Everyone!
Today I'm showcasing some really gorgeous blues! Actually one of these polishes is my all time favorite polish right now and I've worn this same polish at least once a week since I got it last month. I'm calling today's post "Pam Slammed" because I'm doing double duty with Paintbox Polish and Girly Bits both of the gorgeous women behind these polishes is named Pam.
First up my fave polish! Won't the Muggles See Us by Paintbox Polish. YES this IS a Harry Potter inspired polish. No I am not a Harry Potter fanatic. Thankfully I don't have to be to wear this polish!
Won't The Muggles See is is a fabulous sky blue with some blue and pink shimmer and charcoal flakes
Blue Christmas by Girly Bits it's a gorgeous dark blue creme that's honestly a one coater but I always use 2
These colors compliment each other so well
But wait! That's not all! Did you know Girly Bits is branching out into stamping art supplies? Well she is! Girly Bits has a great stamping plate GBC1-01 and the image I've used for my stamping is from this plate.
She also is offering stamping polish!
I was lucky enough to be sent some stamping polishes along with a the new plate GBC1-01 for review and I am elated to say both plate and polish stamped great for me!
Cobalt is quite a vibrant blue and in my opinion the perfect match for these colors I chose for my mani
Also look at the image! I love swirling wave images like this! Absolutely LOVE them!
I wore just Won't The Muggles See Us and Blue Christmas before 2 days before stamping over them and as you can see here no tip wear, I'm so glad I stamped over them because now I've got a couple more days with these beauties!
Pam at Paintbox Polish offers polishes many of them Harry Potter inspired as well as mani fizzes and body care items. If you haven't visited her shop you should check it out HERE
Pam at Girly Bits offers polishes as well as stamping supplies, stampers, plate, the Uber Chic mat and stamping polishes. If you haven't visited her shop you should check it out HERE
So pleased with how well my Pam Slam mani turned out!!
Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you all have a fantastic day!
