The Digit-al Dozen Does Whimsy--Cupcakes Part Deux

Hi Everyone!  I'm trying to get in some double duty today by recreating a super super super old mani I did during Bundle Monster's very first contest as well as Whimsy for Digit-al  Dozen week.  Whimsy is hard for me.  I not whimsical, I'm not cutesy but alas no one wants to do a spike week in the DD.  So I did some cute cupcakes today hoping they could also be whimsical.  Only you can be judge of that, trust me

I don't know if this screams Whimsy but it does say cute

My base is Sonoma Nail Art Tallulah and I stamped with Bundle Monster BM-014
I guess no matter how old you are cupcakes will always be cute
Way back when I entered the first Bundle Monster contest with a mani I called Cassie's Cupcakes.  I was one of the lucky winners and got their 2nd set of plates free.  That was a zillion years ago and here I am still stamping to this day!  This is the mani from that contest
Look at how short and stubby my nails were! Oh My Lanta!

Here's a side by side of then and now I prefer my nails long but I know they are not everyone's cup of tea
I could have added some teeny rhinestones to the current mani except after the move I'm not sure where they are LOL

Lots of cute stuff so far this week.  My fave to date has been Cathy aka More Nail Polish's cute little fluffy guys they were adorable!

A long time coming!

Hi Everyone!  Today I'm helping raise some awareness about Celiac's Disease.    It took the medical field a long, long, LONG time to figure out what this disease was all about and what needed to be done to help those who suffer from it.  My friend Michelle of Ehmkay Nails asked if we could help her out and show our support for Celiac's Disease Awareness in the month of May.

The colors are green and yellow.  I should be shot because my first thought was green and yellow??? Those colors don't go well together.  OMG and I'm a Packer fan and I said that!  I can't believe it, don't tell anyone ok???  After I pulled myself together I came up with a darn freaking fantastic green and yellow mani!!

I did a water marble accent with Sinful Colors Pull Over and Nails Inc Emerald Park and man they look good together!

My glitter nails are none other than . . .
Mustard Fields!!!!! My favorite ever of all time green and yellow glitter!!!!
I'm definitely going to haul this design out again for Packer season!
Who said yellow and green don't go together anyway????!!!!

Celiac's disease in a digestive condition triggered by the consumption of gluten which is a protein primarily found in bread, pasta, cookies, pizza crust, and many other food which contain wheat, barley or rye

People with Celiac's disease who eat foods containing gluten experience an immune reaction to their small intestine and in turn this causes damage to their small intestine and it's left without the ability to absorb certain nutrients.

It's a painful disease that can cause stomach pain and diarrhea, headaches and fatigue, joint pain, and acid reflux and heartburn.  Without the ability of the body to absorb certain vitamins and nutrients your brain, nervous system, liver, bones and other organs are often affected.

There is currently no cure for Celiac's disease, however it can be controlled with a change in a diet, one that excludes gluten from everyday life.

I'm sure you've noticed many grocery stores carrying gluten free products these days, which is great news for the many individuals who suffer from it.

Often times we take for granted the ability to eat whatever we want whenever we want, but for some people that's simply not possible.

My Precious!

Hi Everyone!  I have been wanting this polish since the very first day I ever saw it, and believe me I saw it a LOOOOOOOOOONG time ago!  When Michelle first came up with her Sister Sparkle The Exulted One I wanted it.  I just had not been able to land that sucker until recently.  AND I sure wasn't sorry with my purchase!  I just love the vivid colors and shapes in this multi colored glitter topper!
I just did an easy skittles mani using some of the Sinful Colors Sugar Rush and added Sister Sparkle
I did a cute little accent nail with some masks and then added some Sister!
For someone who's not a huge fan of pastels I think this mani is super cute and super fun!
I love it when I can finally get my hands on a polish I've been wanting forever!

Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you all have a fantastic day!

Me and Jules Verne go 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea

Hi Readers!  Today I'm wearing another fantastic polish from Michelle of Sonoma Nail Art!  Her stuff is just fab and when I saw the prototype for this I just new I HAD to have it!
She named this one 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea.  It's fabulous blue, green and white glitter in a clear base.  You've got micro glitter and and square glitter and large hex glitter here people it's phenomenal!!!  I decided to layer mine over the way cool polish Claudia sent me awhile ago.  Here is 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea over H&M Nail Him
See what I have going on here Readers???? SKELLY FISH!!!!  You know I had to haul out the skelly fish for a 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea mani!!!!
What I love about the 20,000 Leagues is the white hex glitter, it really looks like bubbles when I stamped the fish and seahorse over it!
Thumbie looks good too, BUT this is the only pic I have of him and he's a bit blurry.  I think he was drinking too much rum or something!
Michelle is really known for her labels too--they are all so awesome--did you see the octopus on this one??????
I used a few different plates to do the stamping.  The blue and gold fish are SH19, the large skelly fish on my thumbs is SH02, the small skelly fish are from my beloved BM04 and the seahorse is from MASH m27.  I filled in the goldfish with China Glaze DV8 and It's My Turn.  I used HITS Ares for the skelly fish eyes!  All in all this is one cute mani!

Michelle is working diligently to get more product done for her etsy store.  She is looking at  June opening for several of her fantastic polishes--this being one of them!

Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you all have a fantastic day!
