Hi Everyone! I would love to say happy Saturday BUT early this morning at 4am WHILE I WAS SLEEPING a great tragedy befell Mr Pinkie. I don't know what happened but we lost him in the wee hours of the morning! So now here I am in the real world with nubbins *shudders* Naturally I have a few posts I didn't get up before this happened. Today's mani is one of them. So tomorrow when I post my AIS challenge with short nubbins try not to be too freaked out LOL!
I had done this mani awhile ago actually and thought about it for an Autism Awareness mani. When I showed a few of polish friends they told me it looked "punk" UM I'm not really sure what "punk" is but here's the mani!
I used the luscious Pure Ice French Kiss and Zoya Dove at the recommendation of blue and grey from my friend Ashley! GREAT IDEA, ASH!
I have been wanting to use my safety pin image from DRK-B so I thought these colors were perfect for that!
I topped a few nails with Cover Band's Sticks n Stones and BAM
A star is born!
I'm sad about my break this morning BUT it also gives me a chance to use some plates I have that are just too small for my nails now!
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you all have a great weekend!

A Clockwork . . . PINK!
Hi Everyone!!! First off let me start by saying I have survived Winter Storm Nemo. We got a TON of snow though!!! The roads are pretty clear this morning for me to get into work and we all got to leave a little early yesterday to get home. It snowed ALL DAY yesterday! Instead of having the typical meal of french toast for when you're snowed in--yes french toast as everyone goes out and buys milk, eggs and bread during a blizzard or possible snow in--we had a delicious meal of garlic and wine marinated chicken, cheesy broccoli rice and some peas. I think that's the way to go from now on LOL!
Yesterday when I finally made it home I had the neatest surprise waiting for me! My fab friend Michelle of Sonoma Nail Art made a pink Clockwork! OMG yes she did! A while ago I was talking to her about making a polish with different pinks and such for breast cancer but she was already working on her Scooters For Hooters. Little did I know she remembered our conversation and took it to heart. I got a note from her saying she made Pink Clockwork AND she sent a bottle to me! And naturally I LOVE IT! Clockwork is one of my favorite of all time polishes so this Pink Clockwork is like icing on the Clockwork cake lol!
I did a gradient with some Zoya's--Shelby, Lara and Reagan and then did just one layer of Pink Clockwork over it. I whipped on an accent nail of Ninja Lisa, Paula and BL Chancer--which turned out fabulous and will be getting the full spotlight next week for a VDay mani.
Pink Clockwork is full of multi size different color of pink hexes and large silver hexes and silver bar glitter!
After I put this on I thought about how hot it would look over black so that's happening this weekend!
And here's the note from Michelle! OMG I just love her!
Sonoma Nail Art is having a sale today featuring Pink Clockwork at 1pm Eastern! If you haven't bought from her you NEED too! Her stuff is awesome! I'm really hoping to pick up Tallulah today! Here's the link to her ETSY shop
I hope some of you are able to pick up Pink Clockwork.
Well I'm off to shovel out my car! I hope you all have a fantastic day!

All Good Things Must Come To An End . . .
Hi Everyone! Happy Friday to all of you. Today is a sad day for me because it's my last day in the mail order department at the bakery. I was lucky enough to be a part of the family for the holiday season. It was CRAZY busy and the month of December I worked 35 hours of overtime every week! We worked from sunup to well past sundown 7 days a week starting the day after Thanksgiving with our first day off being Christmas! I met some AMAZING people and enjoyed being able to share some delights from our little ol bakery in Racine with people all over the United States and even the world. On Monday morning I start a new job--no crazy hours--no more kringle, donuts and coffee cakes.
To pay tribute to my fab bakery family I'm sending myself off with a cute cupcake, glitter gradient mani!
It's pretty cute! I used DRK-B for the swear and BM14 for the ring and added a rhinestone for the cherry.
For the gradient I used OPI Thoroughly Modern Millie, Ninja Polishes Lisa and Paula and LA Glitter Addict Animate
I did have some Seche Vite shrinkage with this which is an incredibly rare occurrence for me!
I'll miss my friends at O & H but I know we'll keep in touch! Hopefully I'll be back there for the Christmas season this year!
Thanks for stopping by!!! I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!

Day 27 Inspired By You!
Hi Everyone! Wow what a harried day today's challenge became! Today's theme in the Crumpet Nail Tart's 31 Day Challenge is Inspired By You. I had all these super good intentions for a fabulous mani for today. Inspired by me I mean come on! I could fit chinchillas, food, hot cowboys, crackle, magnetics, gradients, foils mermaids, dragons, animal print and stamping onto 10 fingers somehow! What ended up happening instead were a few hours spent in the Emergency Room with my mom and sister. We had to call 911 for my mom yesterday and she thought she had the flu and was very dizzy and could not even lift her head. Turns out she has a raging kidney infection due to some kidney stones. Mom has had this kidney stone problem before but never got so sick from it. So after a few hours in the ER and her getting settled back at home with a babysitter of Lynelle my little sister last night, I got home to try to work on a mani.
I knew I would be back with mom today so I stayed up late--and by late I mean LATE working on this thing. I tried to get as much as I could into this mani but also had to settle for something that looks good as today is our office Christmas party. So I settled on a crackle, magnetic, gradiented dragon look starring some of my favorites--The Bohemians!
My index is Ninja Polish Nebula with SoflaJo Black Dagger on it! How cool is that???!!!
This really took hours but only because I redid my ring and pinkie a couple of times until I got a look I liked
Here's my left hand in the "claw" lol! Look at the thumb. Don't you just love a Bohemian sponged on gradient????
Here it is up close
GAH I love The Bohemians!!!!
I used BM313 for the ring and thumb and BM217 for the index
The pinkie is just black with China Glaze Oxidized Aqua over it. I tried to use a few of the crackles I have and nothing really looked as good until I did the Oxidized Aqua over black
Check out the shade pics
That matte over Nebula is just amazeballs AND the magnetic gradient in the shade looks really cool too
Maybe one day I'll be able to fit more of "me" into a mani. But for today I have to say this one kicks some serious A$$!!!!!!!!
Almost done now, what's up for tomorrow???
Well this will be interesting because my favorite color is yellow and yellow nail polish is something I don't have a lot of! Nor does yellow look good on me in any way shape or form LOL!
What makes up my fellow Tart's?? Check em out!

Always Aware, Never Forgotten
Hi Everyone! Happy Friday! I got a package from my sweet friend Rhoni of Ninja Polish. In it were both of their Breast Cancer Awareness polishes--Lisa and Paula. Rhonni named Lisa after my very own beautiful sister, Lisa. Rhonni knows how hard the month of October is for me and the plethora of pink being passed around and worn. It's difficult, it's a month long reminder my sister did not survive this cancer. But even though it's hard, I'm glad to see so many people supporting Breast Cancer Awareness.
This is not October but I will always be aware of breast cancer and the horrific disease it is. I will never forget what it did to my sister, or how hard she fought right up until the very end.
Today I've done a mani using Zoya Laurie and Ninja Polish Lisa. I also used my Joby Nail Stickers from Overall Beauty.
I added a dash of OPI Servin' Up Sparkle to the tips as well
Ninja Polish Lisa is a beautiful pink glitter. I am so honored and touched the Ninja's named a bottle of their polish after my sister!
So nice to see these two names together!
This is a nice bright and blingy mani to have on during this pretty bleary and dreary weather! You can shop Ninja Polish at Ninjapolish.com And Overall Beauty at Overallbeauty.com Don't blame me if your wallet takes a beating though!!!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!!! I'm dogger sitting for my doggie nephew Fuzzie AND working on a couple of great nail designs I've thought up based on a someone's dress at work lol!

Summer Challenge Mermaid!!
Hi Readers!!! Yay finally to the Mermaid Challenge! And not too soon either Readers because I'll be starting a month long challenge in September with a few of my friends. I did it last year before blogging and it was KILLER. I was going to pass on it this year but I hung in until the end last year so I couldn't leave my girls hanging in the breeze lol!
I got an AHmazing gift in the mail today. My 3 sweet Ninja friends sent me some of the new polishes from their collection. I got Alexandrite, Zultanite and Color Changing Garnet
They are STUNNING READERS!!!! I knew I could use a couple of them for sure for my mermaid challenge!
These are duochrome glitter polishes, and they are really, really, really, really, REALLY COOL!
Check out Alexandrite and Zultanite in the shade
I layered Alexandrite over OPI Ski Teal We Drop and Zultanite over Zoya Edyta. GLORIOUS!
Here it is with light
Man oh man oh man oh man oh man oh man oh man oh man oh man!!!!
I decided for a mermaid and merman look
I really love how this turned out! I think you all know how much I love mermaid manis!!
Here it is in the shade
I really think I love the green best! It's almost dragonish!!
I love these polishes Readers!!!
Rhonni is working hard to keep these beauties in stock. If you don't have them yet don't despair! You can find them here http://ninjapolish.com/home.php
For my mermaid look I used OPI Ski Teal We Drop topped with Ninja Polish Alexandrite and stamped with OPI Harmony and added some glitter at the tips. My merman look is Zoya Edyta topped with Ninja Polish Zultanite and then I stamped using a GORGEOUS dark green from Nails Inc called Elm Park Gardens. My mermaid image is from BM209 and my merman image is
Mash-39.
Let's see what everyone else has come up for their mermaid challenge!
