Hi Everyone!!! Happy Monday! I survived the 3k hike yesterday. But man oh man oh man am I sore today! I guess when you're used to walking around in a giant circle with no hills you get used to that. Suddenly when you're taking a trek through forest, a flock of geese on the ground and hill after hill you just aren't used to that! I'm glad I went though. 33lbs ago I'm pretty sure I would have made it!
What a nail biter of a Packer game yesterday! OMG! Thankfully mind are all still intact but I really could have chewed them all off it was such an intense game. We lost but since it was a tough game by both sides I'm sort of okay with it! LOL!
Today's theme for the Digit-al Dozen Does It Again is Geeks. I had a hard time with this one at first because honestly what really is a geek? Is it just someone smart? Is it the person in school who had broken glasses and taped them together? I had to do that once and I'm pretty far from a geek.
When I went down to Illinois last weekend I had the chance to get my geek on! I was just out the Cheeky Happy Nails plate and saw an image that I loved and BAM geek mani in a snap!
No idea what the names are of any of these polishes :( It it helps you they were all Funky Fingers Neons
I added the yellow dots thinking I'd ruined the mani at first but then after looking at them awhile I decided it really adds to it!
Thumbie is a pretty cool orange color!
This was a super fun and surprisingly easy skittle mani to put together!
Now let's see how geeky everyone else turned out to be!!

Are You Ready For Some Football???!!!
Hi Everyone!!! Digit-al Dozen takes a one day break today and that means I can show off my Packer mani!! Woot!!!! Today is our season opener against the San Francisco 49er's. It's going to be a tough game but we are up to the challenge!!! I've got my first of the season mani's on today featuring a sweet little polish Gina, from Red Dog Designs whipped up! It's a yellow holo with some square green glitter and teeny square white glitter. The best part about it is the name of course--Go Pack Go!!!!! Oh yes our Green Bay Packer battle cry is heard around the world!!
There is zero sun today so I stuck my hand underneath the table lamp for some pics--I'm not really a jaundiced individual LOL!
Red Dog Designs, Go Pack Go!!
Gina surprised me by sending me this little gem! I was just tickled green and yellow!!!
I also paired this with Soflajo's Last To Leave but the stamping over it doesn't do the color any justice!!
I really dig this image from Cheeky XL D it reminds me of run patterns!!!
I also took some pics of this in flash since I looked so jaundiced!
Both Go Pack Go!! and Last To Leave have a sparkly shimmer to them! It's a great game day mani!
Today is going to be a pretty fun day. I'm doing the NAMI Bike N Hike and attempting a 3k walk--I haven't gone that far all at once yet and afterwards we are having our first of the season Packer parties at my friend Chuck's.
It will be interesting to watch this game. I LOVE the Packers but my Fantasy Football Team Defense is the 49er's!!! OIY!
Hope everyone has a great day!! Thanks for stopping by! Digit-al Dozen Does It Again resumes tomorrow and is our last week for the . . . .

Digit-al Dozen Does It Again--Art
Hi Everyone!!! Happy Friday! Ooh I just love a short week! I'm looking forward to this weekend too. I need to finish doing some housework, need to make some new shelves for the chinchilla cages and I need to start putting away the summer clothes and getting out the fall and winter clothes! I'm pretty excited about the the clothes putting away because by putting away the summer ones I mean getting rid of them as I've lost 32lbs so I won't be needing these babies come summer next year!!! Woot!!!!
Last weekend I had the best time meeting up with some nail polish friends of mine down in Chicago! It was the Triple D's--Danielle, Diane and Deb along with Stephanie. We spent the day looking at polish and trying new manicures and techniques. I showed the girls how easy it is to gradient and do stamped nail decals. We had so much fun we're talking about doing it again next month!
One of the manicures I did I considered a huge fail, so I stamped over it and something amazing happened!!! It turned into my Art post for today's Digit-al Dozen!!! HOW FREAKING COOL IS THAT!
I honestly couldn't tell you what colors I used as I used the polishes Dani had down there LOL!
I simply blobbed on a lot of different colors and then stamped over it
I was lucky enough to borrow Dani's Cheeky XL Happy Nails plate for the stamping! I loved the plate so much I ordered one of my own!
Now here's the really cool part! When struggling for an idea to come up with I Googled Famous Art and under Modern Art look what I found!!
This is a piece of art created by Bruce Gray! It's titled Raindrops. I found it on his art site HERE
How amazeballs is it that my nails sort of look like the painting???!!! Happy Dance!!!
Let's see what my mega talented group of Dozeners came up with for today!
And you're probably sick of seeing it but we have a Spectacular September Giveaway going on right now and one very lucky person is going to win $200 to an etailer of their choice!!! TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS!!

This mani is so hot it's 'bubbling' over!
Hi Everyone!!!! Hope you are all having a great weekend. It cooled down yesterday so last night we were able to open the windows and get some some fresh air!!! OMG fabulous! It's supposed to be in the high 70's today so so far no a/c has been turned out. Might make do all this week with some fresh air so let's keep our fingers crossed.
Today's Adventures In Stamping Facebook group theme is Your Favorite Color Combination. Truth be told I don't really have a favorite combo. I think we all know I love to gradient lol! So any combination is my favorite. A while back Zoya had a fabulous promo of two free Zoya's if you bought Zoya's Pixie Dust color in Liberty. Since I am in love with the textured polishes I was all over that and in addition to Liberty I picked up Solange and Chyna as well. Since I had this gorgeous yellow and red Pixie Dust in front of me I decided to add some oranges and hauled out Julie G Tangerine and Sugar Rush and a textured gradient was born!
I was really struggling with what to stamp over it--it is, after all, a stamping group, and I've already done a gradient similar to this with chilli peppers over it so I went with something completely different!!
Man that Zoya Solange is stunning!!
I'm not going to lie you know yellow is my favorite color and I can't really wear it--I mean look how pale my skin is SO I really bought this for the name!!! I have a girly chinchilla named Solange!
I chose the bubble look from Cheeky XL D because I was watching Doctor Who last night--yes I'm a new fan of the show--and it was the episode about the Fall of Pompeii. I thought the bubbles would make my gradient look like lava!
Thumbie looks great too! Sometimes he gets the short end of the stick LOL!
Doesn't look like I did the best clean up job though!! HA!! This is what happens when you do your nails AND watch Doctor Who at the same time
All in all I'm super pleased with this. I really love textured polishes but only the sparkly ones, and stamping over them looks fantastic!
Thanks for stopping by!!! I hope you all have a great day!

Let's go fishing!
Hi Everyone! Today I'm wearing one of the new polishes from SoflaJo's Wet Dreams collection. It's called Not 2Nite I've Got A Haddock and it is SO gorgeous! It's the perfect bronze! I paired it with a Kiko Sugar Mat and some some stamping and really love this look!
I finally used this imaged from Cheeky XL D too! I've been wanting to for a long time!
I'm wearing Not 2Nite I've Got A Haddock on my toes too and it's just such a great bronzey summer polish!
Jody really has done some great colors for this Wet Dreams Collection! I snagged a couple and am going back in for more!!! LOL!
If you're not familiar with SoFlaJo make sure you check out her Etsy store HERE
It's another super hot one here today! Sort of glad I'm inside working in the air conditioning!!
Hope you all have a great day!

It's the final countdown!
Hi Everyone!!! Happy Sunday! It's a nice day here, low 80's today and partly sunny. The partly part is a bit sad as I have a Ruby Wing on but when I went out to take pics no sun so no color change :( BUT it's bright purple neon so that means 2 things. One I'm able to use it for the last day of Neon Week and Two I can use it for today's AIS theme which is your birthstone color! Woot! My birthday is in February and I'm so glad because amethyst is freaking gorgeous!
Today I hauled out Ruby Wing Crowd Surf and did 2 accent nails with Sonoma Sister Sparkle The Exalted One over it and it's damn pretty!
I added some rhinestones I had gotten a couple years ago from Bundle Monster. For some reason I just never think to haul these babies out
My stamped image is the swirls from Cheeky Jumbo 9. I've been using these alot lately and loving them!
I had A LOT of fun for Neon Week. I'm glad it forced me to get out and wear some embrace and embrace the younger sunny side of life!
Let's see what everyone else has finished off with !

Horse of a different color
Hi Everyone!!! Happy Friday!! Most everyone at work is off today except for 5 of us who volunteered to work. I'm really going out on a limb by wearing some wild neon today. Since I'm the only one who will be on my side of the building I don't have to worry about blinding too many people.
I was going to do a yellow, green and blue neon gradient but then forgot and painted yellow over my whole nail instead of going straight to gradient LOL! FYI blue over yellow makes green!!! So this is a love yellow and green neon gradient.
I'm not too sure if this Konad plate M69 is supposed to be a tiger or zebra but it had the closest stripes to match my zebra face from Cheeky Jumbo 9
I do like this mani, it's wild and bold
Could it be this Neon Week is starting to grow on me???
Too bad zebras weren't really this color!
Only a couple more days of Neon Week left!!! Wonder what everyone else has done for today???!!

A Leopard A Day Week--Day Four!
Hi Everyone!! Oh my lord let me tell you I am d r a g g i n g ! I've started my camera fundraiser and did 4 manicures last night and did not get home until almost 10pm! I like to be in bed by 9 (yes I'm old) so I can read. None of that last night though. My back hurts from hunching over last night and I'm tired BUT I have another pretty cool mani to show you!
Today I paired a gorgeous, pretty in pink polish by Alter Ego, Girly Girl, with an edgy look!
Girly Girl is a super pretty pink matte full of shimmer. For this mani I sparkled her up with shiny topcoat
I think this black tip makes her look hot and sexy! Or maybe that's just the leopard image?? All leopard's must be sexy!
I stamped using my Cheeky Jumbo 9 Wild At Heart plate.
Here's where we're at so far Day 4 only 3 more to go!
Wonder what's in store for tomorrow???!!!!!

If only dragon's were real!
Hi Everyone!!!! A happy Sunday to you all! I hope you're having a great weekend so far. It's a pretty chilly and dreary day here today, quite the opposite of yesterday. I'm going to be spending the day with my grand nephew Sean today. He's turning three soon and is quite the handful. Sean is the grandson of my beautiful sister, Lisa, who died of breast cancer the year before he was born. It often makes me sad he has to grow up never knowing her, but I'm grateful to be a part of his life, and in that he will know her in the ways we can share her memory with him.
I went to bed extra early last night so I'd be prepared for running around and playing non stop boxing on the Wii! That kid beats me all the time! LOL!
Before heading off for my day adventure I want to show you what's up with today's Adventures In Stamping Facebook challenge. Today's theme is butterflies and dragonflies. I haven't done nearly enough dragonfly mani's so I decided to do one for the challenge. I do so love how it turned out! I paired it with a kick ass holo gradient using some of the new Nabi holo's therefore some of these pics are with flash--as there was no sun at 8pm last night lol!
Now here's a funny thing about the Nabi holo's--Seche Vite is not their friend. I did a lovely gradient using Flamingo, Purple and Dark Purple but when I applied the Seche Vite the holo completely melted. Seche is usually my best friend when it comes to gradients as it helps blend the colors but this time it was my worst enemy! I ended up sponging over after I did the Seche and while I didn't get a seamless gradient I did get holo goodness.
Here are pics before I went back over the topcoat
While the gradient is pretty the holo was much stronger before I applied the Seche Vite
My dragonflies sure look good though don't they???!!
I used the Cheeky Jumbo 9 Wild At Heart plate for the dragonflies and stamped with China Glaze, Adore, Emotion and Harmony
Here are pics are I sponged just one layer of the gradient again over the topcoated gradient and then did not topcoat again
Holo goodness but almost "too" holo lol!
I like to see my gradient a little more
I do really love these Nabi holos though, to me they are what I refer to as a "chunky" holo. They aren't a tight linear which I love. I'm not really a fan of the tight linear holos. I prefer a scattered to a linear any day. I'm crazy like that!
So let this be a lesson to you when it comes to Seche Vite. Sometimes--okay almost always--he'll be your best friend, but then out of the blue he can turn on you. Sort of like your cat when you're petting him and then stop so he bites you! LOL!
Tomorrow starts my Leopard A Day Week! I'm really excited to show you guys what I came up with! If you have any leopard mani's of your own you'd like to show I hope you pop over to my Facebook page and post them there for me!
Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you all have a fantastic day!!
