It's so much FUN to do it with friends!

Hi Everyone!

Earlier this week a few of my friends and I got together and did a FUN 14 collaboration mani.  We picked a single image from the plate and then everyone did their own thing with it.  It turned out super cool and was so neat to see the mani different mani's we all came up with.  There were 14 of us total so a lot of a different looks for the single image!

Here's what I cam up with.  I did a gradient (naturally lol) using China Glaze Rebirth and Elevation Storm In The Morning Light and Definition: The Vivid Unknown.  I stamped with Mundo white and I think this looks very wintery despite the flower image!  I am really pleased with how this turned out!

I love how this gradient turned out and think I will definitely do this one again!

This is the image we chose
And here's a collage of the mani different mani's that came out of this single image!
This was really a lot of fun and I hope to see some more collaborations in the near future!

Whoooooooooo nailed it?

Hi Everyone!  Happy Saturday!  I'm thankful for the weekend!  Tonight is the Christmas Party for my bakery.  Now that the mail order season has died down and no one has to be taking orders or baking 24/7 we have some time to celebrate.  I'm really looking forward to it.

I'm going to work on some nails for the party  but in the mean time look at what I did the other day!!!  I don't often do cute but I found some really cute fabric the other day and just had to try to recreate it.

Here's the fabric
Isn't this adorable????

Now here's the mani I did
Pretty cute!

I used plates from Bundle Monster's 1st and 3rd set.  I had to decal my owl as I needed to fill him in as he's kind of sparse on the design.  I'm the least pleased with my free hand tree branches.  I just cannot free hand to save my life! LOL!
I got TONS of compliments on these which leads me to wonder why I don't do cute more often?  Still it's just not my thing.

Here's a pic with the nails with the fabric
What do you think??

I gots a lotsa dots!

Hi Everyone!  I forgot to post this on the  blog yesterday! Yikes!  I've got a cool one to share with you.  My sweet friend Ashley from Ashley Is Polish Addicted help me find an RBL 360 on Storenvy.  Story of my life I end up falling in love with a color way late and  by the time I want it, it's usually too late or way too expensive.

I decided to pair my RBL 360 with Elevation Polish's Definition: The Vivid Unknown.  I pulled out one of my Marianne's plates as I rarely use them and this is what I came up with
I stamped with Mundo de Unas Aqua using Marianne's N01 pretty cool!

Here's a pic of the beloved 360--thanks to Ashley's keen eye!
It's a total 'me' color!

Here's Elevation's Definition: The Vivid Unknown
Another totally 'me' color!!!

They really look great together AND with this Mundo Aqua!
Tone stamping like this is still my favorite I think.  How about you?

Thanks so much for stopping by!!! I hope you all have a fantastic day!

Game Day!!

Hi Everyone!!  Today is the  big game--Packers vs Seashawks the game with the best fans for both teams.  Oh My Lanta this is going to be a tense game.  I'm already though.  I have my famous sweet & spicy chili simmering in the nesco and we are having root beer floats for dessert.

Here's the nails I'm wearing today to support my team!
Bring it Seahawks!

This year I used this avatar for my fantasy football team and that's where I got my inspiration
How'd I do????!
Hope everyone has a great day!

Go Pack!! Go!!!!!!!

The Digit-al Dozen Does Fairy Tales--St George and the Dragon

Hi Everyone!  Woot! It's Friday!  The weekend is almost here!  I'm getting together with my family for a game night on Saturday and Sunday is the big Packers vs Seashawks game so I am looking forward to it for sure

I did some stamping decal last night that turned out really well!  It's really nice to have the Creative Stamper to use for large pieces of the full image plates from the MoYou Fairy Tale Collection.  I really think this mani turned out great!
My story mani for today is the tale of St George who slew the terrible Dragon.  I had to matte it because you know all the cool kids do it!
I'm only sporting the dragon scales on my right hand because "ain't nobody got time" for the same thing on my right hand LOL!

I think this was a really great week and even though this was a really challenging theme, once again every one did an exceptional job!

I'm heading over to the last day to see what my friends came up with!

The Digit-al Dozen Does Fairy Tales--The Poison Apple

Hi Everyone!  Woot the week is almost over!  I don't know about anyone else but I am pretty exhausted and can't wait for the weekend.  I haven't played around with too many mani ideas lately so I'm really hoping to have the time to do that this weekend.  Then of course we have the  big Packers  vs Seahawks game on Sunday.  OMG that one is going to be a real nail biter I think!

Today I'm doing something that looks super easy but was in fact pretty hard.  I had to make 2 decals and then sandwich them together to get the look I wanted.  It was the first time I had ever done anything like it.  Here's my take on Snow White's poisoned apple.

I had to find an apple image first and stamp in just black.  Then I added my red dot to it.  I made another decal of the holey lace image and then put it over the top of the black apple.  Then I had to cut it out!  At first it looked just like this which I didn't think looked enough like an apple
So I had to go back and draw the apple shape over my apple.  I was worried I would ruin it but it turned out okay!

I found the inspiration for my mani from this cool picture
I think it turned out pretty good--what do you think?
I'm working on an epic tale for tomorrow right now!  Let's hope I can get it to work.  In the meantime I'm heading over to check out what my friends did!

The Digit-al Dozen Does Fairy Tales--Sometimes you have to kiss a lot of frogs!

Hi Everyone!  Happy Wednesday!  I'm late posting today as I was hoping for some sunlight to takes pics of my mani and that just did not happen!

I decided to do The Frog Prince today because let's face it sometimes we have to kiss a lot of frogs before we find that  special someone.  Here's a shout out to all those gals who are bad pickers like myself!

Man it was hard to get a color accurate picture of this mani.  These are neon colors so much  brighter than you see here but you get the idea I hope!

I just have this one lonely picture today because I hate all the others I took LOL!  I did  some FUN stamping over a neon base and let me tell you here it is the end of the day and I cannot wait to get this mani off!  Bright neon colors and I do not mix!

I'm heading over to see what everyone else did for today!

The Digit-al Dozen Does Fairy Tales--Snow White & Rose Red

Hi Everyone!  How about that great first day of our fairy tale week?!  Creepy wolf stuff going on yesterday but some nice girly girl princess and Cinderella stuff too.  I have a great idea cooking in my head right now for one I'm going to do hopefully tonight and you'll know soon enough if it turns out good enough to post!

Today I am doing something pretty simple but at the same time very stark in it's simplicity.  Today I am showcasing Snow White and Rose Red an original Grimm Brothers fairy tale about 2 sisters who both wind up married to princes and doing the happily ever after thing after saving a poor starving bear

I thought about doing some black reverse image roses over my white but then thought better of it and I think I made the right call.

My white textured is the lovely OPI Solitaire from the James Bond collection!

I stamped with Sally Hansen Insta Dri Red-io Active using one of my MoYou Pro plates.  Probably one of my fave Pro plates is this one with the rose images

For as simple as this is I really love it!

I'm heading over to check out what everyone else came up with for day 2!

The Digit-al Dozen Does Fairy Tales--Mermaid!!

Hi Everyone!!! Happy Monday!  Today starts the 2015 year for The Digit-al Dozen AND we have some exciting news!!! We have several new members!  It's totally exciting and I can't wait to see all the diverse nail art we are going to get out of this "new and improved" group!!!

We are starting off the year with Fairy Tales.  OMG it is not as easy as it sounds!  Most people hear fairy tales and their minds immediately go to Disney movies which the majority are not fairy tales at all!  I really had to struggle to come up with some ideas and one of mine I can't do at all as I am minus a frog stamping image!  I mentioned this to the group and Sheila from Pointless Cafe wanted me just to draw one LOL!  I died laughing.  Easy for Sheila to say as she can freaking draw anything but I think we all know when it comes to me and free hand skills it ain't pretty!

So today I started it off right with one of my all time favorite nail designs EVAH--the beautiful mermaid tail!
I got to use my new multi-chrome flakie, Prilea, from Darling Diva with this beauty and boy do I love it!

Prilea shifts from  burgundy to green to gold and some flashes of blue even
I also put OPI Ski Teal We Drop, My Vampire Is Buff and Zoya Wednesday and Haven into the mix as well!
And I stamped Mundo de Unas Aqua over Wednesday for the other nails--just lovely!!!  Stamping is MoYou Sailor
Really loving this one and glad to be able to start this week out with a mermaid tail!

Because we have new members with us this year I really hope everyone takes the time to head over and check out all the amazing art work we have for this month's Fairy Tales theme!

Long Live The King Of Rock And Roll!

Hi Everyone!   80 years ago today Elvis Presley was born.  Today I'm proudly rocking my Elvis mani to commemorate the day he was born.  He  has been my favorite entertainer since I was 7 years old.  There will never be another Elvis!

There's something positive about this negative space mani

Hi Everyone!  Happy Sunday!  I haven't done a Sunday challenge in quite some time and today's challenge was negative space mani.  Negative space mani's are challenging for those of us with long nails because we have a white tip.  And if you're like me you have a super white tip.  Negative space mani's tend to look best on someone with shorter nails in my opinion

That being said I decided to haul out my FUN 15 plate today to see if anything stood out to me.  Sure enough I found an image I liked and paired it with my two favorite Mundo de Unas blues--Holland Blue and Navy
It's pretty fun and whimsical.  But can you see what I mean about the long nails and white tips?
It's pretty noticeable LOL!
I can say I REALLY love my new FUN plates.  They stamp like a dream and the images are really diverse.

We finally got some snow!  Yep the past 2 days it's been snowing here so it finally looks and feels like Winter.  Too bad we didn't have any for Christmas!

No Packer football today as we have a bye because WE ARE THE DIVISION CHAMPS AND WE KICK A$$ so I'm watching the Cowboys vs Lions game today and rooting for the Cowboys!

Thanks for stopping by!  Hope you all have a great day!
