Extend a Mani!

Hi Everyone!  i was trying to get out of doing my nails since A they looked pretty cool and B I had a good book to read so I decided to try to triple stamp these babies.  Double and Triple stamping is a really awesome look but to be honest it's not as easy as it seems.  You like to still be able to pick up the designs you have below each a layer.  Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't and other times it doesn't even really matter.  For my triple stamping I hauled out one of my Uber Chic plates and stamped over my matchy double stamping from the other day

Still matches my shirt except I can't really wear the shirt days in a row LOL!

Still got the tip wear on my pointer--I'm too lazy to fix it!

I think tomorrow I am going to cover over ALL of this and show you the really beautiful base I started with

Matchy! Matchy!!

Hi Everyone!  Happy Monday to all!  I'm not sure if I told you all that I got a new job and while it is fabulous and I mean it really is fabulous--I have an hour drive to and from and by the time I get home I'm sort of pooped and I'm not doing my nails daily anymore.  Sadface BUT I am trying to work on doing them 2 to 3 times a week so hopefully I feel like writing up a blog post to go with them too LOL!  I don't know if I told you this either but I am a pretty lazy individual.  Yep truth be told I am not a mover and a shaker.  I am more of a "oh thank god I'm home let me get my bra off and pajamas on and play some Farm Heroes Saga and read a hot cowboy book" kind of a gal.   And of course I try to fit in my manicure too LOL.

The other night I was doing a double stamped mani that really did not come out the way I intended it too.  I was bummed that it didn't really work so I went to bed and figured I would try to triple stamp with it the next day.  Well you all do know I like to match my mani's to my clothes so I went to grab a shirt in the same color family and off to work I went.  When I got there I had a few people remark how perfectly it matched my shirt!  SAY WHAT?! Do you mean to tell me my huge fail was someone a win?  Why yes, yes I do mean to tell you that LOL!

It's hard to tell the design really because I put the dark grey over the mint color yet at the same time this does look pretty cool and matched my shirt perfectly

One thing I noticed though was that I had tip wear on the pointer finger!  What the french?  I hardly ever get tip wear even when I wear something for a few days!

I wish I could tell you I could be bothered to fix it before pictures but I really didn't notice it until after I took pics LOL!

So here's the thing though I did triple stamp over this baby tonight but you'll have to tune in tomorrow to see how it turned out!

We're gonna need a bigger boat!

Hi Everyone!! Happy Hump Day!  Whew half way through the week!  I'm sort of glad.  I kind of feel like I just want a relaxing weekend BUT I have a lot of housework that needs to be done.  Here's to hoping it's nice super nice outside so I actually do it instead of doing stuff outside!

I have a  friend Sue, who used to be a coworker.  I loved working with her.  She and I used to do work 3rd shift together many moons ago and she would prey upon my fear of sharks.  Oh yes she would!  Every so often she would send me an email and this is when we worked IT together so every email had to be looked at in case it was something serious going on.  So she would covertly send me pictures of sharks!  I would have no idea that's what would be in these things until I opened the email to look at it and there she blows a huge great white would be on my screen.   Naturally she would fall off her chair laughing at me when I would let out a little scream.  It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt or gets their arm bitten off!  Ahhhhh I miss those days working with her.

Well she and I are still friends and do some chatting on Facebook these days and she still sends me pictures of sharks for flip sake!  She just sent me something the other day letting me know when shark week was.  As if I'm going to watch it for crying out loud!

I decided to do this mani today as a nod to Sue one of the funnest coworkers I've ever had!

Seriously I do not know how people can do a single thing in the ocean

I saw Jaws in the 7th grade and have not been in the ocean since!

The shark and birds are from Uber Chic UC 2-03. The water and boat are from a Pueen plate Dani had and I can't remember the number of it for the life of me!  This is what happens when you get together with the girls over the weekend.

What do you guys think of this scenery mani???? A far cry from my dancers isn't it??!

The Digit-al Dozen Does 2--Double Stamping

Hi Everyone!!! Happy Friday!  Today for the last day of our special 2 year anniversary week we had a choice of things having to do with twos' cotton or sapphire.  Well I fell in love with my double stamped blue mani so I just had to try it again with red!

I hauled out OPI Skyfall from the James Bond collection and double stamped with Mundo's Old Pink and Papyrus with Pueen Buffet (yes these plates are growing on me especially for double stamping!)

This almost reminds me of a china pattern too!

As much as I'm not a fan of the colder weather I am a fan of dark vampy colors so yay Fall!

I must admit the Pueen Buffet set is starting to grow on me especially for double stamping

I'm not sure which one I like the best this one or the blue!
