Hi Everyone! Happy Monday! I sort of lost some steam last week and didn't get to do my haunted house mani for Halloween but that's okay there's always next year lol! I can't believe all the awesome mani's I saw for Halloween this year. I should have bought more plates. Next year someone remind me to snag all the Halloween plates in the summer
It was a gorgeous sunny day here in Wisconsin. 72 degrees and bright and sunny and all the trees with the mustard browns and yellows and oranges and reds is just amazing. I love being here in the Fall and wouldn't have it any other way.
One of my FB followers, Lesley, recommended I do a Fall gradient so I'm working on that tonight but in the meantime let me show you what I did yesterday for a flash challenge in the Advanced Nail Stamping Group. Our theme this week is feathers. I grabbed on of my Uber Chic plates and did some decals with Mundo white, black and aqua over Girly Bits Dash Away All. I think it turned out great!
Look at how long my nails are getting! This weekend is inventory so I better get these suckers filed down before then
Still typing 80 words per minute though!
I really like this Girly Bits Dash Away All it's not really a grey it's not a black, it's not a brown it's sort of a greigey color
I'm hoping to do at least one more feather mani this week to but we'll hve to see how this week goes LOL. I was in bed at 8 every night last week!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you all have a fantastic day!

Monkey See, Monkey Do Monday--@Firefly5!
Hi Everyone!!! Happy Monday! Good thing I had my flower power mani on yesterday because today we have snow again! Not as bad as other areas in Wisconsin have I think we only got an inch or so but still our green grass is looking like a white blanket again. The good news is with it being March and almost the end of March this snow is definitely not going stick around.
Today is the Monkey See, Monkey Do Challenge in the Advanced Nail Stamping group. The group we all lovingly refer to as the ANUS group because despite being adults we are all totally juvenile lol! A few of us got together and recreated a favorite mani we had seen from each other or online somewhere. I knew right away what mani I was going to recreate. My fab friend @firefly5 over on Instagram has the coolest manicures ever. I just love her. AND she's super nice so I really wanted to try to recreate something I had seen her do several months ago for a MoYou Contest.
Here's what I came up with
Yep just look at this! I had to decal the heck out of this baby!
It wasn't easy I swear there is not a brush skinny enough to ever do something like this!
I used one of my new XL Bundle Monster plates though and loved it!
This is the XL03 plate it's really cool
Here's a close up of the mani
See what I mean about the skinny brush??? OH MY LANTA!
Now here's my inspiration the super cool mani by @firefly5
Why I love hers--it's so bright and cheery! She switched up her colors instead of doing strictly rainbow colors in order like I did. I guess I just don't have her creativity LOL!
Here's a side by side pic of them
She holds that blue thing in all her pictures. I have no idea what it is! I should ask her. I had to improvise with a bottle.
I love doing Monkey See, Monkey Do mani's they are a lot of fun!

The Digit-al Dozen Does Fairy Tales--St George and the Dragon
Hi Everyone! Woot! It's Friday! The weekend is almost here! I'm getting together with my family for a game night on Saturday and Sunday is the big Packers vs Seashawks game so I am looking forward to it for sure
I did some stamping decal last night that turned out really well! It's really nice to have the Creative Stamper to use for large pieces of the full image plates from the MoYou Fairy Tale Collection. I really think this mani turned out great!
My story mani for today is the tale of St George who slew the terrible Dragon. I had to matte it because you know all the cool kids do it!
I'm only sporting the dragon scales on my right hand because "ain't nobody got time" for the same thing on my right hand LOL!
I think this was a really great week and even though this was a really challenging theme, once again every one did an exceptional job!
I'm heading over to the last day to see what my friends came up with!

The Digit-al Dozen Does Fairy Tales--The Poison Apple
Hi Everyone! Woot the week is almost over! I don't know about anyone else but I am pretty exhausted and can't wait for the weekend. I haven't played around with too many mani ideas lately so I'm really hoping to have the time to do that this weekend. Then of course we have the big Packers vs Seahawks game on Sunday. OMG that one is going to be a real nail biter I think!
Today I'm doing something that looks super easy but was in fact pretty hard. I had to make 2 decals and then sandwich them together to get the look I wanted. It was the first time I had ever done anything like it. Here's my take on Snow White's poisoned apple.
I had to find an apple image first and stamp in just black. Then I added my red dot to it. I made another decal of the holey lace image and then put it over the top of the black apple. Then I had to cut it out! At first it looked just like this which I didn't think looked enough like an apple
So I had to go back and draw the apple shape over my apple. I was worried I would ruin it but it turned out okay!
I found the inspiration for my mani from this cool picture
I think it turned out pretty good--what do you think?
I'm working on an epic tale for tomorrow right now! Let's hope I can get it to work. In the meantime I'm heading over to check out what my friends did!

Nail party with my polish besties!
Hi Everyone! Happy Hump Day! This past weekend I got together with all my polish besties and we did nails all day long! It was a blast as always. We have the best time when we do this and always have some great food and lots of laughs in addition to trying out some fun nail designs.
There were two casualties of the day though! I had a nail break so I had to file down and Dani spilled Orly Miss Conduct on her favorite jeans! UG! I think she did a great job salvaging those jeans though!
My first design of the day was some Dashica stamping over Zoya Cosmo. I really do like stamping over the magical pixie dusts
It's really hard to get a good pic of the magical pixie dusts because they are SO sparkly!
This next one turned out to be my favorite of the day--some double stamping with CiCi & SiSi and MoYou Sailor and then a cute little decal to go on top of it!
I did a bit of double stamping as the theme in my Advanced Nail Stamping group was double stamping. This next one is a sunset gradient with sme Dashica and Cheeky Wild At Heart stamping
I can't belive I'm going to say this but sometimes I think gradients look better on shorter nails than my long ones
Next up I did some stamping with one of my new Marianne plates and added a cute little turtle
And this is when things went south and the corner of my middle finger broke off! UG I had a little patch on it but when you are using so much remover all you can do is pray for the best LOL!
First design featuring my shortie nails is this cool tribal I did with a FUN plate and Cheeky Viva La Mexico
This is also when the sun started to get low so we had to switch to indoor lighting. Yep we were together for 10 hours!!!
Here's my cute cat mani and for the life of me I cannot remember what plate I used to stamp the cats with! The cute skelly fish is from CiCi & SiSi though
I used the lovely Nails Inc Warwick Way for this mani and I really love the color!
I also tried my hand at a pond mani for the first time and I just did not like it! I don't know why. I think my images are too big and I'd be better off doing some smaller images. I'm not a fan of jellies at all so I don't know that I'll ever do another pond mani, but I'd like to think I will
What do you think? Do you think we are crazy to get together and do a mani and then take it off only to do more? We love getting together and if we can't find the time to do an all day nail-a-thon then we get together for dinner.
I feel so blessed to have found 3 wonderful friends through Facebook of all places that live close to me!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you all have a fantastic day!

Butterflies are free to fly!
Hi Everyone! Happy Monday! I was going through my Picasa album last night getting rid of pictures I just don't need to keep and I ran across my first ever glitter nail decal and I cannot believe I did share this mani with you! It turned out SO great!
I'm not really big on decals because A they are just way too time consuming and B no matter what I always seem to get air bubbles when I do them. But I had just gotten a bottle of Red Dog's Floral Flourish and I loved it and thought maybe it would be the gorgeous backdrop for some decaling.
I was totally right!
This is a really spectacular glitter topper. It is full of colors, 17 different glitters in all! My favorite thing about is the the rose copper colored glitters. It just gives it a real Victorian feel to me. It is stunning.
Here's the decal I made using CiCi & SiSi 07 and Floral Flourish
I decided to put this over a base of OPI's My Vampire Is Buff
My reverse accent nails are OPI's Taupe-less Beach
I think pairing this gorgeous multi colored glitter with the nude family was a brilliant idea!
I want to point out that I really let this decal dry before removing it. I wanted my glitter coat to be dry so I wouldn't have any issues trying to peel it off. I also was pretty generous with a few coats of top coat to make sure I had a nice firm but pliable decal.
Floral Flourish is from the Butterfly Garden collection over at Red Dog. You can buy it HERE In addition to this great polish there are several different finishes in the collection! A yellow suede!!! And some gorgeous shimmers and a lovely holo. Check em out!
I don't know that I'll be a decaling fool but this one made me quite happy.

Following A Tutorial Week--Stamped Decals from Messy Mansion
Hi Everyone!! Happy Friday! Our polar vortex has finally vacated and now we have rain! OIY we just are not winning here LOL! I'm all for the warmer weather but rain brings sleet, slush and ice. Here we are at the end of the tutorial week and I decided to do a stamping decal. Julia posted a really cute idea for a leprechaun last March. It's a pretty simple tutorial although if you're new to stamping this is definitely an advanced technique. Do check out the tutorial for it over at Messy Mansion. Because I chose a plate that needed a lot of detailing on the decal I decided to just go for an accent instead of the decal on every nail. Good thing too because it was a bit labor intensive!
I chose one of my new Messy Mansion plates MM29 and then stamped with China Glaze Passion--my favorite gold. Then I filled in ALL the little holes with my jewel tone Illamasqua's--Viridian, Scarab, Phallic and Baptiste
I think it almost has a stained glass look!
I sure you enjoyed the tutorial week! Hope you all have a great weekend!
