Hi Readers! Several months ago I made a Viridian dupe so I've been on the quest to dupe Scarab as well. My first attempt was a fail BUT it's still a gorgeous franken! I don't have Scarab so I had to go by pics and I thought it would basically be a blackened red. The two polishes I used to give me that red shimmer I needed actually went magenta so the final result is a blackened magenta with shimmer in the light BUT a deep brick red in the shade. One of my favorite authors is Jami Alden. She did an amazing series with three brothers--The Gemini Series and Caught was the first book in the series--perfect name for this gorgeous new franken.
Here it is what do you think?
I wondered how close it was to a couple of China Glaze's I have On Your Knees and Long Kiss. It looks really close to On Your Knees in this picture but On Your Knees is more red and I think of Caught as a magenta
Even though it's a gorgeous color I just can't not stamp on it lol! I stamped with China Glaze TTYL using RA114
Here it is with flash
Close Up!!!
