Day 12 Tape Mani!

Hi Everyone!!! Happy Saturday!!  Today's theme in the Crumpet Nail Tart's Challenge is tape mani.  The 2nd I saw this day when the Challenge was first introduced I knew what I was going to do!  It's not really new to me because you've seen me do this before on a MSMD day BUT not with the colors I just HAD to use!!!  I decided to, once again, copy the ever talented and lovely (even if she has a big head LOL) Sarah over at Chalkboard Nails.  

Sarah and I are friends in real life--I KNOW! I am friends with Chalkboard Nails in real life!  It's like totally exciting--AND did you know her nails were featured on the Today show??? They were! OMG!  

But anyway, Sarah and I are friends in real real life and I like to tease her alot about having a big head, which she really doesn't.  She's very sweet and super lovely and she happens to do some kick ass nail art.  

I copied her Harlequin Nails awhile back for an MSMD mani and recreated it pretty much to the letter which I absolutely loved.  I used her same idea for Harlequin Nails on today's tape mani using the best Illamasqua's out there--Viridian, Baptiste, Scarab and Phallic.  I know everyone else is on the "rubber" bandwagon and some of their newer colors, but to me these four jewel tones are simply their best polishes.

These are all over a coat of Maybelline Bold Gold

I just love how this turned out!

This mani is really a stunner!  I don't wear my Illamasqua's often because they aren't cheap but when I do wear them I am so glad to have them!

Hmm Cheer Yourself Up--I sure hope I won't be having to cheer myself up over a Packer loss to the 49er's tomorrow!  Tonight Green Bay meets San Francisco in the playoffs!  It's going to be a great game AND a Packer victory!
