Happy Halloween!!!

Happy Halloween Everyone!!! I hope you all have a great day and keep it safe.  Be extra careful of creepy crawlies and things that go bump in the night!!

As can see just a couple of easy gradients with BMH07 and BMH08 stamping.  Sometimes some things are more important than super elaborate manicures--like reading the new hot cowboy romance you got!

Have a great day!!

My dragon can't be tamed!

Hi Everyone!!! As promised I have a review of the Messy Mansion MM21 plate or Scaley Things.  OMG it was a glorious plate!  I waited and waited for this thing to become available and when Julia asked me if I'd care to review it I about died!  I love Messy Mansion plates!  Their quality is fantastic, the shipping from OZ stupendous and the price really cannot be beat for such amazing quality!

I really wanted to come up with a few awesome mani ideas for this plate and I believe I did just that!

First up is my gradient dragon.  I hauled out some Zoya's from the Fall Collection  Mason, Neve and Giovanna.  All gorgeous jewel tone colors great for Fall and Winter.  Here's a pic of the gradient

I stamped with China Glaze Passion

Look at this cool image!!!!!!!! DRAGON SCALES!
OMG!!!!!!
But wait!  I'm not done!!!!

I also did a Fire Dragon mani!  I hauled out the lovely and often forgot I had it Elle's Spell.  I layered her over black first
Isn't she lovely??!!
Isn't she beautiful?!!!

She is, but she is not as awesome as Fire Dragon!

ROAR!!!!
Just like fired buried beneath!!
GAHHHHHHHH I can't stop staring at my fingers!

BUT WAIT!!!!! THERE'S MORE!

Omg as if these two mani's are not awesome enough I still had another image I wanted to use!  I tried an Ice Dragon mani and it sucked.  Big time sucked so instead I came up with this lovely Mermaid Mani!

I think we all know how I feel about Mermaid Nails!
Isn't this cool??!!!  I painted my nails black then did the accent nails with a little franken I bought a few years ago called Ariel's Tail.  I did a gradient of Kleancolor Green and Aqua over the other nails and stamped once again using Messy Mansion MM21

Simply amazeballs!

Honestly if I could only have 1 plate to use for the rest of my life it would be this plate!
You can purchase Messy Mansion plates HERE.  Julia has done an amazing job with some really great themes and ideas!

And don't think I'm going to let that Ice Dragon mani beat me either!  I will find redemption!

Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you all have a fantastic day!!

How much Halloween can you handle??!!!

Hi Everyone!!! Hope everyone is having a great weekend.  I'm all about trying something new today in the food world.  On the menu for today is a sweet and spicy chili and avocado stuffed  meatballs.  Found both of these recipes yesterday and really want to give them a try.  I'm a spice baby so I'm little afraid of the chili but I'm going to give it the old college try!

I got to spend the entire day yesterday working on some great mani ideas for one of the new Messy Mansion plates.  BUT more on that tomorrow where I'll feature all the mani's I did for it.

Today is all about Halloween.  Over the course of this month I've done several Halloween mani's.  Some of them are just a simple gradient with glitter, some of them are just polish---yes just polish--and some of them have stamping.  I know I have a favorite out of the bunch--maybe you will too!

First up just some polish nails!
My index is OPI Jinx, my swear and ring are Sonoma Nail Art Sincerest Pumpkin Patch and my pinkie is Zoya Chita.

This is the lovely China Glaze Cha Cha Cha topped with OPI Black Spotted for a bubbling cauldron look!
And my added scary spider for effect!!

Next up a couple from Red Dog Designs-----

Dean Man's Party over Zoya Josie and Pinta
You've seen it already but it's cool so I'm showing it off again LOL!

and thumbie!

And the Haunting Hour which is full of holo shapes, gunmetal hexes and various orange shaped glitters
This I did over a gradient of Sally Hansen Sun Kissed and Sinful Black On Black
I really love this one!

Next up some stamping.  The next two are ones I did for the Bundle Monster entry.

This is the one I didn't choose and then wished I had!  Zoya Caitlin and Dior Purple Smoke gradient stamped with BM301 and BMH08
Silver Purple is lovely isn't it???
The next one is one I did enter the contest with.  I felt like my entry was pretty lack lustre compared to all of them out there but I was one of the only ones who went creepy green!  This is a gradient of Sinful Innocent (which does stain to the heavens) and Zoya Envy.
I did this when I was with Steph and Dani a few week ago and used one of  Steph's Sephora Xplosives for the glitter touch.  Stamping is BMH08.
It's slimey and green but there were a lot of way better entries in there than mine!

I loved the chartreuse green of Sinful Colors Innocent so much I used it again with China Glaze Grape Pop in a gradient and stamped using Sugar Bubbles 001 plate

For some cute ideas I came up with I did the googlie eyes mani which you already saw

I also did this cute little mani using OPI Holiday Glow with stamping of BM305 over it and accent nails of Superficially Colorful's Impulsive topped with Red Dog Designs Pumpkin Toss

My last two pics of the day are my favorite Halloween mani's I've done.  First up is one I did and said--"What the French??!!! Where was this inspiration for the Bundle Monster contest??!!!"
I started with a gradient of Sally Hansen Black Diamond and Zoya Mimi and Amy.  Then for the swear finger I drew the moon in Zoya Pippa and stamped using various Bundle Monster images.  The spooky trees are part of BM224, the haunted house is from BM305 and the bats are from BMH08.

And last but not least my most recent Halloween mani!!!
This one features 2 frankens I made.  Index and Pinkie are a duochrome holographic polish I named Masters Of The Shadowlands after my favorite series of books, and Swear and Ring are Moon Tide a teal to purple duochrome I made.

Here you can see the shift pretty well

I used BMH07 on the Index and Pinkie along with this super cute little gold stars I got from my friend Gina
The Swear and Ring have stamping from Messy Mansion MM11
That demon head is creepy cool!

So that's it!  Lot's of pics and ideas for you for a Halloween mani!  I'm not sure if I'm Halloween'd out yet or not LOL!

Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you all have a fantastic day!

Matchy, Matchy!

Hi Everyone!!! Happy Friday!!!!  Last Friday I went to a wine tasting fund raiser with my friend Angelika.  We had a blast and I actually tried some red wines AND liked them!  All this time I was positive I was not a fan of red because I like something really sweet.  I tried a Moscato Lambrusco I just loved and another Halloween sweet red wine.  We had some great food, listened to the jazz band and bid on a few items.  All in all it was a great night.

Because I was able to lose 40lbs before the big event I got to wear a new top and jacket that I got months before but were too small.  I really wanted to try to match the top.  Here's a pic of it with the jacket
I hauled out some like colors and did some saran wrapping and some stamping and this is what I came up with

I used a few of my SA plates and I think it turned out great!
I love that ring finger!!!  I did it again on the thumb but had a bit of a corner accident with thumbie LOL!  No time to fix him I had to keep on moving

Here's the mani with my shirt--how'd I do???!!!

I've got a good weekend planned--nothing but 'me' time!  I've plates from Messy Mansion to review so I want to work on mani's to go with those fabulous plates AND of course Halloween is coming up so there are mani's to be worn!

What's everyone else got going on for the weekend??

Dead men tell no tales---but they have kick-ass nails!

Hi Everyone!!!  I've got on a super cool Halloween mani today featuring Red Dog Design's Dead Man's Party.  Dead Man's Party is a wicked cool neon glitter with various size black hex and of course Gina's signature micro holo sparkle BUT it also has some skullz!!!!!  It is the perfect polish for Halloween!!!

I did a gradient here using Zoya Josie and Pinta and then simply topped with with Dead Man's Party
How cute is this????!!!!
And it looks amazeballs out in the full sun!  Yes my neighbors are used to seeing me outside taking pics of my nails LOL!
Look at that cute skull!!!!

OR if you look at them this way they look like mooseheads!!!! OMG they are just adorable!
Dead Man's Party is part of Red Dog Designs Spooky Treats Collection--you should check out all of Gina's Spooky Treats they are fabulous!!!

Thanks for stopping by!!!! I hope you all have a fantastic day!
