Digit-al Dozen Does Black & White

Hi Everyone!!! Happy Hump Day!  Here we are half way through this week's black and white mani theme.  I have to say while I love black nail polish I am not so much a fan of white nail polish.  I honestly do not know when is the last time I willing wore white polish LOL.  That's what makes this challenges so good--you think outside the box and do something you might not normally do like wear white nail polish LOL!

Today I just went for something simple and used one of my favorite stamping plates ever, BM314.

First up a lovely white to black ombre mani

Index to Pinkie--Sinful Snow Me White, Zoya Dove, my franken Shibari MASTER, and Sinful Black On Black

You can see here my thumb is also white.  I stamped using BM314 and Sally Hansen Silver Sweep and Sinful Black on Black

I love this image!  I've worn it a zillion times and love it every time I see it!

Simple but sort of elegant.

So today I pretty much stayed within the black and white spectrum--did everyone else?

Hi Everyone!  It's already day 21 in the challenge!   I decided to go for something I've never done before--a plain and simple ombre mani.  Before I got into stamping, which helped add fuel to the polish collecting fire, my "problem" color was purple.  Lots and lots and lots of purples.  Mostly dark ones though lol.  I hauled out a few of the ones I had and just did a simple ombre.

I actually had this on yesterday and people at work were perplexed by the whole "why do you have a different color of purple on each day?"  Sometimes the "real" world just doesn't get the "nail" world LOL!

The lightest purple I had wasn't a cream so that sort of ruined the effect, but still I had to go with what I had.  I'm just not a pastel person at all therefore I need to add a pale lilac creme to my list of need to pick ups lol!

Tomorrow starts the more complex challenge ideas

One stone two birds you know the drill!

Hi Readers!  I am killing two challenges with one post today WOOT!!!! I've got a mani for MSMD Monday AND for the day 10 of the 31 Day Challenge!  When she first posted this little getting to know the terminology I loved seeing the blue gradient ombre from The Swatchaholic.  I really wanted to try it but was missing one of the blues.  Luckily for me my fab friend Marissa came to the rescue and sent me a bottle if Ski Teal We Drop which I really needed to nail it.  Today is day 10 in the 31 Day Challenge and the theme is gradient nails so BAM a double whammy is born!  Gradient blue ombre nails!

Thank goodness I have a lot of blues to pick from to throw together this mani!
