As you can see Boo You is a lovely teal blue but it's got some lovely added micro glitters and shimmers to it as well
There is some lovely sparkle in this polish. It's a bit sheer so I layered it over Zoya Rocky and they are a match made in Spookyville!
The color compliments my skin tone perfectly!!!

Hi everyone! Welcome to the Digital Dozen Does Fashion! I am SO thrilled I'm able to do a Monkey See, Monkey Do Monday post with fashion!! My friend Jen from Jen's Wonderland bought a pair of awesome shoes and super cool purse about a week ago and she was kind enough to share pics with her friends on Facebook. The minute I saw the shoes I knew I wanted to try to try to recreate the look on a mani. How exciting for me to share with you all my first "fashion" mani!!

Hi Everyone! Today I'm wearing one of the new polishes from SoflaJo's Wet Dreams collection. It's called Not 2Nite I've Got A Haddock and it is SO gorgeous! It's the perfect bronze! I paired it with a Kiko Sugar Mat and some some stamping and really love this look!
I finally used this imaged from Cheeky XL D too! I've been wanting to for a long time!
I'm wearing Not 2Nite I've Got A Haddock on my toes too and it's just such a great bronzey summer polish!

Hi Everyone!!!! Happy Saturday! Oh we have a much nicer weekend than last weekend wouldn't you just figure! The sign is shining and it's already 74 degrees! We should have a camping rewind! Oh that would be awesome because then I wouldn't melt my camera if I had a do over LOL!
I've been up since the butt crack of dawn--LITERALLY--I woke up to a cat butt in my face. Rufus loves to snuggle but he always has to be butt first lol! And if cat butt in your face isn't bad enough I was awoken at 1:30 am by some REALLY bad drunk singing by the neighbor next door. Dude stay away from American Idol AND The Voice!
Now that I'm awake though I'm hauling out one of the loveliest matte's I have AND I was the first person to get it!! Woot! Woot! Woot! Yes I am tooting my horn!
Awhile back Soflajo had a little contest on her FB page asking to see your Cinco de Mayo mani's. I posted one and I won! She sent me a polish in her new upcoming summer collection and it is TO DIE FOR GORGEOUS!

Monday starts my Leopard A Day Week!!! I'm kicking it off with a MSMD mani I stole from my internet daughter Rebecca Likes Nails!!
Hi Everyone! I survived the camping weekend even with the full moon!! Nary a werewolf in sight BUT I had a major acetone accident. I kid you not my acetone bottle leaked all over my camera and my camera melted! OH THE HORROR! I'm pretty upset about it but no use crying over spilled acetone! I'm putting together a few nail parties and doing up a bunch of mani's to help my cause! I figure by the end of June I should be good to go!
In the meantime I do have an old camera that's not so great when it comes to color accuracy. I hope you'll all be able to bear with me until I get a new one.
On the bright side I do have a few mani pics I have posted yet with the old camera--may he rest in peace--so I'll post a few of them!

Hi Everyone!! Happy Friday!!! And if you're in the states happy three day weekend woot!!!! I'm going to be doing the faux camping this weekend. Like every Memorial Day Weekend it's not supposed to be warm. So instead of tent camping in the cold and damp we are driving to and from Saturday and Sunday to enjoy all the fun of camping without the misery LOL! Call me a cheater I don't care, I'm old and just don't want to stay over in a cold tent!!
I can't wait though! We are having tacos one night and pulled pork the other!!! OOOOH yummy! I'm in charge of guacamole and Auntie Laurie's noodle salad, and OF COURSE I'm bringing out some polish to do some mani's and pedi's.
Today I have a super lovely mani to show you if I do say so myself! I mixed up some gorgeous matte with a gorgeous textured polish and move over Babs and Judy Garland because a STAR IS BORN!
I used my Kiko 646 from the Kiko Sugar Mat collection and the white is the gorgeous White Sensation from Soflajo!
I super love this white matte!!
I stamped using the lovely (and one of my all time faves) BM323 and DRK-A
I switched it up later with some topcoat!! I love the Kiko with a topcoat almost as much as alone!
Look at all that sparkly goodness!

Hi Everyone! Happy Saturday!!! Oh I am so looking forward to a great day today! My friend Angelika is having a surprise party for her husband today!!! It's official and he's finally got his green card so we're having a Green Party for him! I'm making my famous guacamole, we're also having key lime cupcakes, spinach dip and some cucumber sandwiches. If it's green we're having it LOL. I just know it's going to be a fun time and hopefully we've managed to surprise him and no one spilled the green beans!
I had the tragedy of a nail breaking awhile back and filed my nails down. I've really been digging my shorter nails and thinking I might like them better but then I was going through my nail album and seeing some pics I hadn't posted yet of my longer nails and now I miss them LOL! I try to always be current with my mani's to the blog but sometimes I do get ahead especially if I don't post everyday. I found one in here that is simply stunning that I did back in the beginning of April! What in the world!?! Why I didn't show this to you then I don't know, but here it is!
I did a gorgeous gradient with Zoya Harlow--that I got from my sweet friend Jin of Superficially Colorful and Soflajo's Black Dagger.
If this is not the most gorgeous mani ever then I simply do not know what is!!!
I'm told by many people my gradients are amazing but honestly when you have 2 colors this gorgeous it's all them and not a lick of me!

Hi Everyone!! Happy Monday! A few months ago when my dad was sick, my sweet friend Wendy sent me a fantastic care package. Wendy and I have been friends for awhile and she knows ALL my tastes and how much I love to read my "naughty" books. I have a few nail polishes for the name only and call them part of my "special collection". I was tickled pink when I saw Nars Orgasm in the package from Wendy. It's not really a "me" color though so I haven't worn it until now.
Today I decided to pair it with SoflaJo's Black Dagger and oh my goodness, Winner Winner!! Chicken Dinner!!
This pic is rather fuzzy BUT it shows the color and name!

I don't smoke but if I did I'm sure I'd have to have a cigarette after this smoking hot mani!
Man I love the dark black of SoflaJo's Black Dagger! It's just a perfect black matte!!! And did you know it's virtually impossible to find a black matte out there! You can buy Black Dagger at her site though! Check it out HERE
I love how you don't have to be perfect with your application as you cover up uneven lines with the striping polish!!!
I'm writing this post up at about 8pm on Sunday night--so far the Ravens are kicking the 49'ers butts. One thing making me laugh is the fact they had to stop playing because the power went out. UM we have played in snow, rain and even ice at Lambeau Field for crying out loud! Babies I tell ya!!!

Hi Everyone!!! Today in the 31 Day Crumpet Nail Tart's Challenge is Inspired By A Blogger. Several bloggers have inspired me BUT the one who really first caught my eye was Cris over at Let Them Have Polish. I copied A TON of Cris' mani's. Her ideas helped me get my own ideas and in time I was actually doing it on my own! It's exciting, it's fun and being able to come up with a new nail design everyday is something I really love doing. Cris has done SO many mani's I really love but there's one she did a long time ago I just really loved. Today I recreated that mani with a twist of my own
