The Digit-al Dozen Does Thankfulness--Kitty Kats

Hi Everyone!  Happy Monday!  This week the good old DD is showing a week of what we're thankful for.  Weeks like these are always so much fun because you just never know what you're going to end up with!

I think everyone knows I am a bona fide animal lover.  I have 2 cats as pets as well as chinchillas.  So far no one has put a chinchilla on a stamping plate and we all know I can't free hand SO kitty kats it is!
I used the lovely Superficially Colorful's Fascinate for my base--I love an instant gradient!!!!

Don't you just love these skelly fish and pawprints???!!!!
I used Sugar Bubbles SB013 and Mundo de Unas white for my stamping

For my thumb I used my VL 2 plate
awwwww how cute is that????!!!! It's SO cute!

I am eternally grateful for my cats.  I believe a life without animals is a life not full.  Animals love us unconditionally.  They don't are how much money you make, whether your are small or large in stature.  The don't care if you dress to the nines or wear old sweat pants.  They love you for you and not what you wear, how you look, or even where you work.  Animals are the best!!!

I'm heading over to see what everyone else is thankful for!

The lovely Serene!

Hi Everyone!! Oh my word sorry I just sort of fell of the planet there for a bit.  I really have no excuse other than I got caught up reading some great books and felt more like reading than blogging LOL!  Just before the Digit-al Dozen's last theme I did a beautiful mani using the lovely Serene Superficially Colorful but I get a chance to post it.  Then I sort of forgot about it which is just a crying shame because it is SO pretty.  So today I'm doing justice for this pretty polish and showing you what I did with it.

I love the thermals from Superficially Colorful.  Jin does an AHmazing job with her polishes and especially her thermals.  I have several and just love them.  So "mani" things can be done with them too!  One of my favorite things is to stamp over them of course!

First up the lovely Serene which is a thermal that changes from an almost white ice blue to a deeper icy blue color
I love the natural gradient look you get with thermal polishes!
One of my favorite things to do with thermal is to stamp over it!
It's so much fun and you still get that gradient look!
I used LilyAnna 03 for this design and really think it's adorable!
In addition to thermals Superficially Colorful also has some great glitters that just like her thermals are great for stamping over.  If you have not yet visited her store you can find all her cool stuff HERE

Today I'm going to be helping my mom do some decorating but after that I think I'm going to check out this alcohol ink and clear nail polish thing to make up some some sheers for leadlighting.   I'll definitely get back to you with any of my successful results!  I think I'm trying some water marbling this weekend too--FINGERS CROSSED!

Thanks for stopping by!!! I hope you all have a fantastic day!!

Getting Giggly With It!

Hi Everyone!  Happy Hump Day!  I had to think long and hard on how I was going to top my awesome dragon scales mani, but really in the end it was that hard at all!  I recently got a few polishes from my friend Jin who is the fabulous blogger Superficially Colorful .  In addition to be a fabulous nail artist she's now making polish and doing a fabulous job at it!  She makes the absolute best thermal polishes hands down!  I have several of her thermals and one of the funnest ones is Giggly.  Giggly is a bright hot pink to dark purple polish with loads and loads of shimmer.  I decided to put it on and do some stamping over it.  And something super fun came out of it!
I love thermals because you get amazing natural gradients from them!

You don't even have to do any work to get them to do it if you have long enough nails!
I decided to haul out the big a$$ Pueen Buffet set and use it.  You all know I am not thrilled with this set as the images are so huge when they don't need to be.  But I do think this stamping doesn't look to bad.  This is from Pueen 65

This is what Giggly looks like when you're warm
And when you're cold you get this really pretty deep purple
This is the look I got putting my nails against the hot crockpot that was cooking our yummy dinner last night!
All in all thermals are just loads of fun.

If you haven't checked out Jin's store yet please do so!  She has some great polishes!!  Thermals, glitters and deep rich jewel tone polishes that are guaranteed to make your nails look AHmazing!  You can find them all HERE

Next week's Digit-al Dozen theme is another great one!  I've been thinking up some ideas and trying to nail a couple of looks.  I had to haul out the neons last night and then wished it was Summer!!

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you all have a fabulous day!
