Menage anyone?!?!?!!

Hi Readers!  Omg I have been SO tired lately and haven't had anytime to come from work and do nothing.  I've barely had time to come up with a decent mani AND I haven't been able to read.  Right now I'm reading Cherry Adair's  entire T-Flac series.  I honestly don't know why I didn't read them all right as they came out--these books are fantastic!  Suspense and hot romance what more can you want????

Well what I want is some time to get my nails done and read my books AND snuggle with Roscoe!  Tonight I set the goal for myself to be in bed at 8:30pm so I could spend 2 hours reading a book, snuggling Roscoe and playing with the chinchillas lol!  I didn't make my deadline Readers as I'm posting this at 8:54 BUT I'm only  behind 30 minutes!

I needed something cool and quick.  What better time to haul out the crackle??!!!!  I was going to do a black, gold and red mani and use Butter London Knees Up again instead I decided just on black and gold BUT sitting next to me on my little table were Sashay My Way and Clockwork--basically because I was too lazy to put them away from when I used them earlier this month!  How fortunate for me!  And let this be a lesson to you that being neat isn't always good!

I started with a couple coats of China Glaze It's My Turn--my favorite gold polish EVAH, then OPI Black Shatter then I topped it with both Orly Sashay My Way and Sonoma Nail Art Clockwork! BAM instant nail art in a hurry!

I'm definitely going to wear my cage ring with this mani tomorrow!!!

No stamping necessary--sometimes you gotta love that lol!

I wonder if anyone would think I'm wacko if I tried to marry Clockwork?  I think we make a good couple!

Okay now I'm only an hour off schedule!  And who am I kidding when I say I'll read for 2 hours???!! Lately I can't even make it an hour before the reader is smacking me in the face as I doze off lol!

I am getting home early tomorrow with nothing to do and I have something special in mind for the Summer Challenge on Friday--so here's hoping it will turn out!

I love this kind of menage--it's easy, safe, AND no jealousy going on here as they are all beautiful in their own way!

Thanks for stopping by!!! I hope you all have a fantastic day!

When mani's attack episode 17!

Hi Readers!  Have you ever done something when you should have just stopped at step 1?  Today is a lesson in that for sure!  I recently got some OPI Shatters from from fab friend Silver over at The Silvernator.  Apparently, fool that she is, she's not a fan of shatter! I know right????! I love her but she is cray-cray!  I got a lovely bottle of Turquoise Shatter from her my bad because I didn't know there was an OPI Turquoise Shatter and it's freaking gorgeous!  I really wanted to use this bad boy immediately so I set off trying to think of some great color combinations for it.  I decided to do something with my Zoya Beaches and chose Wednesday (mostly because I get a kick out of that name) and Tracie.  I mean honestly is this not a gorgeous gradient in which to start your day?
These are just yummy colors together!
Next up the Turquoise Shatter
Ruh-ro Where did my gradient go?

Remember my failed Illamasqua and Clarins 230 mani? I thought hey maybe I can McGuyver this sucker with some gold stamping so I hauled out Passion and stamped over it--um silly me I didn't take pics of that carnage.  I tried to save it yet again by stamping over it AGAIN with black.

UG! Check out this monstrosity
Really what is this thing????
This is DEFINITELY not one of my finer manicure moments that's for sure!

Here's it is good, bad, worse LOL!

Sometimes it's best to stop when you're ahead which in this case would have been the gradient LOL!!!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you all have a fantastic day!

If ain't broken don't fix it!

Hi Readers!  I'm sure by now you have figured out I "love" a lot of things.  I love stamping.  I love magnetic polish.  I love foils.  I love crackle.  Face it readers I have a hard time remaining faithful!  My mani today features my deep, deep love for the black shatter!  I love, love, LOVE black shatter!  It looks great in mani's and it looks good when making nail polish jewelry. Today is your lucky day because I'm going to show you both!  First up the nails!
As you can see I'm on another half moon mani kick lol!  I can't help it now that I have the round labels it's just so much easier to do and it finally works!  This mani is white with black shatter over on index, swear, and pinkie (yes I did call it the swear finger!) and on the thumb and ring finger I switched it up and did white crackle over black.
This is a super simple mani and an easy way to get nail art without doing a thing!  The Shatter is OPI in black and and Crackle is Pure Ice in white.  I just love how this looks.
And check this out readers! Here is a bracelet and matching ring I made awhile ago--it totally matches my mani!
And here I am modeling it!
I've said it before and I'll say it again I'm not over crackle!

Thank for stopping by!  I hope you all have a fantastic day!

Do two rights . . .

Hi Readers!  If two wrongs don't make a right do two rights make a bada$$ mani??? Why yes! YES THEY DO!  I know it seems crazy and inconceivable that I messed with my gorgeous glass fleck water marble from yesterday but I did just that.  I say looking at my sparkly, twinkly mani and thought--what would this look like with Black Shatter over it??
BAM!
How does it look??? It looks freaking fantastic that's how it looks!  Oh Shatter if loving you is wrong I don't want to be right!
This is just spectacular AND it's still mega sparkly!
Both my thumbs look great!
Left Thumb
Right Thumb
Here's my lovely collage!
Here's a before and after pic--really they both look great!
You'd think I'd stop while I was ahead but nope I kept on going!
Check out the matching jewelry I made for this mani!
Bracelet
Rings
Here they are together!
What do you think Readers? Was I crazy to cover up this awesome mani after only one day or did I make it even better???!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you all have a fantastic day!

Double the fun!

Hi Readers!   I hope you're all doing well on this "hump" day.  Today I'm featuring a lovely mani I finally got around to trying it after seeing it almost a year ago here. I won't lie, when the shatter/crackle polishes first came out I was not on the bandwagon.  But after I saw this mani done with Shatter AND stamping I was like, whoa this is gorgeous!  Of course my nails aren't as lovely and as long as Holiday's but I still think I was able to capture the beauty of this design.
For this mani I used OPI Designer De Better, which is one of the most gorgeous foils I've ever seen, and OPI Black Shatter.  I stamped on a slant the free edge of the nail with BM203 and then applied the shatter on the  unstamped area of the nail.

Here is it natural light
And here it is with flash--I love how shimmery it is with flash!
Close up!  My friends told me they thought this looked like an old Grecian Urn--I think they might be right!
How do you feel about the Shatter/Crackle polishes?  Are you so over them, or still loving them?
