Hi Everyone!!! Happy Saturday!!!! We are loading up the car right now to head out to the camp ground. For years we have been going out to Timber Trails Camp Ground in West Bend, WI. It is a really nice camp ground with plenty of trees and it looks so lush and lovely this time of year. Weather wise we are looking at cloudy in the high fifties possibly low 60's. No rain in the forecast though!
I'm bring out a bunch of neons and my Summer Zoya collections both these year and last year and a few of my stamping plates so I can do nails out there for the crew. Today is taco day so I've got my guacamole fixins all packed up so I can make it before we eat AND a nice huge tub of good old Texas Caviar as well! It's going to be so much fun!!!
I tossed together a quick neon gradient as I know it will be well appreciated by niece Alex, who has already said I better not forget the neon's lol!
Too bad there's no sun!
I stamped using BM318 and Mash-41 which I think are perfect images for any neon!!
Here's my inspiration!
Sure wish there would be some of these pretty hibiscus where we're going!
I hope everyone has a great day today--remember to be wary on the roads during this holiday season!

Monkey See, Monkey Do Monday--Colors de Carol (AGAIN!)
Hi Everyone!!! Happy Monday! Today for my MSMD mani I'm sort of copy Carol from Colores de Carol. I didn't have the colors she used or the image plate BUT I still made it work LOL! Many of you might now when I first got into stamping I religiously copied many manicures and designs done by Carol and Cristina from Let Them Have Polish. Image my complete joy when they both befriended me! It's like meeting the Queen I tell ya! Two Queens at that!
Today I copied a mani Carol had done a few months ago and I just love how it turned out!
Carol used OPI Anti-Bleak which I don't have so instead I used the lovely Casino Royale
My nubbins don't look too bad dressed up in Bond!
I stamped using Color Club Cloud 9 and Mash-41
I'm pretty sure Casino Royale will be my favorite dark plum of all time!
Carole used a Gals image plate which I don't have so I had to wing it, but I think it turned out great.
Here's a side by side comparison pic--hmmmm I might still have to get Anti-Bleak, it's quite lovely!
If you didn't catch the post by Carol the first time with this fantastic mani please find it here!
Tomorrow's the last day of the month and my last chance for a chinchilla mani for my Animal Guardian Ribbon--can I pull it off??????!!!!
Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you all have a fantastic day!

More Cowbell!!! Aka Pink Zebra!
Morning everyone!!! We have another huge snow storm to contend with here. Lots of snow yesterday and it's expected to snow all day today as well. I know a lot people are grumbling about it but the reality is our Nation was in a huge drought last year and we need this snow to start off our planting season. It's Winter here still in Wisconsin and it stays Winter here until after April LOL!
I can't believe I'm wearing pastels in the middle of Winter but I am! I decided to gradient with a couple of the new Sugar Rush colors from Sinful. I don't "do" pastels and quite frankly I get sick of seeing all the pastel collections posting when we are still in the dead of Winter, BUT when I saw these and knew how affordable they were I bought them all. I blame my friend Jen Miracle of Jen's Wonderland for this. In fact I say it's a Jen Miracle I'm even wearing pastel in the middle of Winter!
I did a gradient with Cotton Candy and Sugar N Spice from Sinful. Both are quite lovely.
I stamped using both Mash-41 and M57
While it looked good with just the black I could hear Christopher Walken in the background yelling "more cowbell"! So hauled out the white and silver glitter striper and went to town
It's pretty wild and bold and helps jazz up a pastel LOL!
Winter Storm Rocky is wreaking some havoc today--I hope all who are in his path stay safe and drive smart!

If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck . . .
Hi Readers! I got a few polishes recently and wanted to use them in a mani. I stopped in at Sally's and picked up the only color from the China Glaze Safari collection, Exotic Encounters AND my Butter London order arrived in which Knees Up, Bluey, and Branwen's Feather were in there. Looking at Bluey and Exotic Encounters together I knew I could do something with them. I debated on whether or not I should gradient AGAIN and decided--yes, yes I AM going to gradient again. I hauled out on of my fave--okay it IS my fave China Glaze, For Audrey, and a gradient was born.
I love how much is missing from my bottle of For Audrey, because it means she is well loved!
She goes great with Exotic Encounters too!
Let's add Bluey to the mix to see what we come up with!
Bluey can be a bit greeny when stamp with him over teal lol!
And you know when I saw these colors together my mine immediately went to Mermaid Mani BUT I held myself back so just because it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck doesn't always mean it's going to be a duck!!! LOL!
I really do love the richness of Bluey but it was not as opaque as I thought it would be. I'll be using him again a few times I'm sure! I know he'll be a fabulous gradient partner to someone!!
Hopefully my ding dang pinkie which broke this weekend will be grown out by then so he looks even better or a full size finger nail LOL!
Here's a picture of the polishes I used and my sponge.
I stamped with Bluey using MASH-41.
Were you surprised I held off doing another mermaid tail???? I am lol! I love how this turned out though! You can never have too many animal print mani's I think!
