A Dainty Day

Hi Everyone!  I have a friend who makes nail polish . . .  LOL  that line always impresses people I work with.  They are in awe of a "regular" person who can make nail polish.  Little do they know the world is full of indie polish makers.  Anyway a long time ago my friend and I were chatting and making fun of some of the celebrity chefs out there.  You have your macho chefs like Robert Irvine and then you have your sissy pants chefs like Michael Chiarello.  I'm sure Michael isn't really a sissy pants but when comparing the two someone who does it Napa style as opposed to someone who does it Military style--I think you know what I mean.

Anyway we were just joking around sort of like a my chef can beat your chef up kind of thing, and a few days later I got a polish in the mail from her!  It is super lovely and super dainty.  I decided to name it Sissy Pants for the fun of it.  I put it on today and added a couple of stamped accent nails and man oh man sometimes being quite, dainty and subdued is the way to go.

I paired Sissy Pants with an oldie but goodie OPI--Puerto Vallarta Violeta
I stamped using China Glaze Delight which is a gorgeous brown plummy brown metallic.
I used this image from Mash 47 for the first time and I love it!  I'm definitely using it again!

All in all I really love this clean and simple manicure!

Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you all have a fantastic day!

  2. I CANNOT get my stamps to work...is there a certain brand I should get (maybe have wrong/cheap stampers) or certain polish I should use or acrylic paint instead? I love the clean look of stamps, but I can't pick up a thing off of my silver disc :( Thanks for any suggestions!!~
