Leopard A Day Week Day 5!

Hi Everyone!!! Happy Friday!!!  I've got a busy weekend this weekend how about you?  I've got a benefit walk on Saturday so let's hope it doesn't rain!  It's rained the past couple of days here!

For Day 5 I wanted something fun so I pulled out some Zoya's and did a quick and easy leopard!
Isn't this one fun??!!!
I used Zoya Micky, Thandie and Rocky and just painted on, no taping at all!  I did a top coat of Seche Vite and stamped using . . . yep you guessed it!! BM221!!
These Zoya cremes from the Stunning collection are FAB!

I really like this one!  It might be my favorite so far!

Let's take a look where we're at!
Do you have a favorite so far????

A Leopard A Day Week--Day Four!

Hi Everyone!!  Oh my lord let me tell you I am d r a g g i n g !  I've started my camera fundraiser and did 4 manicures last night and did not get home until almost 10pm!  I like to be in bed by 9 (yes I'm old) so I can read.  None of that last night though.  My back hurts from hunching over last night and I'm tired BUT I have another pretty cool mani to show you!

Today I paired a gorgeous, pretty in pink polish by Alter Ego, Girly Girl, with an edgy look!
Girly Girl is a super pretty pink matte full of shimmer.  For this mani I sparkled her up with shiny topcoat
I think this black tip makes her look hot and sexy!  Or maybe that's just the leopard image?? All leopard's must be sexy!
I stamped using my Cheeky Jumbo 9 Wild At Heart plate.

Here's where we're at so far  Day 4 only 3 more to go!

Wonder what's in store for tomorrow???!!!!!

Leopard A Day Week Day Three!

Hi Everyone!!! Happy Hump Day!  Kind of another cold and drearyish (is that even a word???? Spell check says it's not) day here in Wisconsin.  Not sure what is up with Mother Nature here at all!  That's okay though because I have a hot mani to show you today!  I decided to gradient with some sand finishes--OPI What Wizardy Is This and Kiko Sugar Mat 645 and the result is fab!
I find it so hard to capture the true beauty of a sparkly sand with the camera though!
I just love this sand finish polishes don't you???!!!
Never have I seen sandpaper look so glorious LOL!
I stamped using BM221 I'm sure you all it's my fave leopard plate by now!

Here's where we are at so far--3 down only 4 more to go!
Hard to say what my favorite is so far!

Tune in tomorrow for Day 4!!!

A Leopard A Day Week--Day II

Hi Everyone!!!!  I'm rolling right along with my Leopard A Day Week and I've got a lovely neon gradient leopard for you today!  Quite by accident awhile ago I discovered gradienting with China Glaze Purple Panic and Turned Up Turquoise creates a lovely 3 tiered gradient with a purple in the middle!  I loved it and have been wanting to use it again so what better time than now???!!
ROAR!!! I just love how this turned out!  It's fun and sexy!
I stamped using my fave leopard print of all time BM221
And here's a lovely shot of the gradient before stamping.  See that gorgeous purple in the middle??!!

My niece scolds me for stamping over a gradient but come on!! This gradient looks even better with a leopard on it!!

Here's where we're at so far with day 1 and day 2 of Leopard A Day Week!
Hard for me to pick a favorite yet!

Stop by tomorrow for Day Three!!!!  Thanks for stopping!!! I hope you all have a fantastic day!

Monkey See, Monkey Do Monday--Rebecca Likes Nails!!

Hi Everyone!!! Happy Monday!!! This week is my Leopard A Day Week!!  I decided awhile back how much I love leopard print and it's just my "go to" print design.  So I thought why not do a leopard mani a day for week!  I'm SO excited to be able to whip a MSMD mani in there too!  Many of you may know that my internet daughter is Rebecca of Rebecca Likes Nails.  She was my very first "nail polish" friend and she's helped me TREMENDOUSLY to get where I am today.  She even recently revamped my blog for me!!!! Did you see those mermaid scales???!!!  Yep that was her all her!  She knows me SO well!

She did a super cute french tip mani based on ANOTHER friend of ours Leslie from Polish Art Addiction so this is like a Monkey See, Monkey Do Rebecca Likes Nails likes Polish Art Addiction!! LOL!

Here's my Neon Leopard to get us started this week!
I don't often "do" french tips because my nails are quite yellow.  They are very porous nails and no amount of basecoat can save them.  They don't see the sun or get air so they yellow.  If I don't wear polish they break, you see my dilemma here right????
I did buff them recently just to be able to do some different art and so far so good.  I've decided to take a pic every single day of my bare nails to see how long it takes before they yellow.  This should be a fun project for all of us to see!

This is also my first foray ever into freehand leopard spots.  I don't think I'm very good at it!

Now let's see some comparison pics of mine, Rebecca's and Leslie's!

You can see Rebecca's post HERE and Leslie's post HERE

So there you have it!  Day one of Leopard A Day Week--what do you think?

If only dragon's were real!

Hi Everyone!!!! A happy Sunday to you all!  I hope you're having a great weekend so far.  It's a pretty chilly and dreary day here today, quite the opposite of yesterday.  I'm going to be spending the day with my grand nephew Sean today.  He's turning three soon and is quite the handful.  Sean is the grandson of my beautiful sister, Lisa, who died of breast cancer the year before he was born.  It often makes me sad he has to grow up never knowing her, but I'm grateful to be a part of his life, and in that he will know her in the ways we can share her memory with him.

I went to bed extra early last night so I'd be prepared for running around and playing non stop boxing on the Wii!  That kid beats me all the time! LOL!

Before heading off for my day adventure I want to show you what's up with today's Adventures In Stamping Facebook challenge.  Today's theme is butterflies and dragonflies.  I haven't done nearly enough dragonfly mani's so I decided to do one for the challenge.  I do so love how it turned out!  I paired it with a kick ass holo gradient using some of the new Nabi holo's therefore some of these pics are with flash--as there was no sun at 8pm last night lol!

Now here's a funny thing about the Nabi holo's--Seche Vite is not their friend. I did a lovely gradient using Flamingo, Purple and Dark Purple but when I applied the Seche Vite the holo completely melted.  Seche is usually my best friend when it comes to gradients as it helps blend the colors but this time it was my worst enemy!  I ended up sponging over after I did the Seche and while I didn't get a seamless gradient I did get holo goodness.

Here are pics before I went back over the topcoat

While the gradient is pretty the holo was much stronger before I applied the Seche Vite

My dragonflies sure look good though don't they???!!
I used the Cheeky Jumbo 9 Wild At Heart plate for the dragonflies and stamped with China Glaze, Adore, Emotion and Harmony

Here are pics are I sponged just one layer of the gradient again over the topcoated gradient and then did not topcoat again
Holo goodness but almost "too" holo lol!
I like to see my gradient a little more
I do really love these Nabi holos though, to me they are what I refer to as a "chunky" holo.  They aren't a tight linear which I love.  I'm not really a fan of the tight linear holos.  I prefer a scattered to a linear any day.  I'm crazy like that!
So let this be a lesson to you when it comes to Seche Vite.  Sometimes--okay almost always--he'll be your best friend, but then out of the blue he can turn on you.  Sort of like your cat when you're petting him and then stop so he bites you! LOL!

Tomorrow starts my Leopard A Day Week!  I'm really excited to show you guys what I came up with!  If you have any leopard mani's of your own you'd like to show I hope you pop over to my Facebook page and post them there for me!

Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you all have a fantastic day!!

Heyyyyyyy Baby what's your sign?

Hi Everyone!!!! Happy Saturday!  Oh we have a much nicer weekend than last weekend wouldn't you just figure!  The sign is shining and it's already 74 degrees!  We should have a camping rewind!  Oh that would be awesome because then I wouldn't melt my camera if I had a do over LOL!

I've been up since the butt crack of dawn--LITERALLY--I woke up to a cat butt in my face.  Rufus loves to snuggle but he always has to be butt first lol!  And if cat butt in your face isn't bad enough I was awoken at 1:30 am by some REALLY bad drunk singing by the neighbor next door.  Dude stay away from American Idol AND The Voice!

Now that I'm awake though I'm hauling out one of the loveliest matte's I have AND I was the first person to get it!! Woot! Woot!  Woot!  Yes I am tooting my horn!

Awhile back Soflajo had a little contest on her FB page asking to see your Cinco de Mayo mani's.  I posted one and I won!  She sent me a polish in her new upcoming summer collection and it is TO DIE FOR GORGEOUS!
An aqua matte!!! Full of sparkle!!!

See this??????? It means I'm the first person ever to get this polish!!!!!!!!
I paired her with LA Girls Teal Dimension which is also quite lovely!
Did you see how many exclamation points I've used in this post already??!!!

I just cannot say how much I love this polish!  I did a little stamping over the Teal Dimension so as not to take away from the beauty of My Sign Is Aqua-rium

Yep I hauled out my skelly fish just for the occasion!
Man I love that skelly fish image SO much!
This is just a super fun mani if you ask me!  I used BM04 (skelly fish) and Cheeky XL Wild At Heart plate for the stamping
Fun all the way around!!!

Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you all have a great weekend!

Monday starts my Leopard A Day Week!!! I'm kicking it off with a MSMD mani I stole from my internet daughter Rebecca Likes Nails!!
