Monkey See Monkey Do Monday--Colores de Carol!

Hellooooooo yes it's me with the broken record--not an Olympic record broken but instead sounding like a broken record for doing yet another Colores de Carol mani for MSMD lol!  BUT how can I not?  She is freaking fantastic! She comes up with the super coolest stuff!  I started with a base color of Nina Ultra Pro Blue Blaze, a neon blue and then I hauled out my LCN croco top coat in black and put it over it.  Do I need to tell you all how much I love crackle???? I LOVE CRACKLE PEOPLE!  I love all kinds of crackles, the big kind the little kind, the croco top and the Spotted--I LOVE ME SOME CRACKLE!  I didn't have the exact plate Carol used for her mani so I relied on my DRK-A and voila a cute as heck mani!
I had to ask a few of my friends if I was too old for skeletons and they all said no, you're never too old lol!
It's cute but definitely something I can only wear for a day so it's a good thing I only wear a mani for a day lol!

Please be sure to check out Carolina's original mani here because it's super duper cute!

I got caught foiling around!

Hi Readers!  I've got another really cool foil mani today!  This time I stamped over it as I so love to do that with my foils.  I've showed you my Cherry O's foils before--they are one of my faves
I truly love the holo goodness in a foil but the simple truth is these babies loose some of that when topcoat is added.  I've tried not adding topcoat but it's a major fail as they eventually rub off.  Stamping helps add some more umpf to them after you top coat
I used my Milani Black Swift over these instead of my Kleancolor black so the black isn't as sharp as I had hoped, but still looks super cool!  This is an image I used from my  Cheeky XL B plate.  I have really been loving my Cheeky XL's lately!
Isn't this just totally cool???!!!!!
I'm doing another foil order from Dollar Nail Art and I can't wait!

Thanks for stopping by!!! I hope you all have a fantastic day!

Feeling Hot! Hot! Hot!

Hi Readers!  My favorite show is starting back up tomorrow!  No it's not American Horror Story or The Walking Dead it's The Pioneer Woman! OMG Readers I adore that show! It's on the Food Network and not only does Ree Drummond make some kick ass food she has a mega handsome husband a REAL cowboy, and the sweetest kids especially Todd her youngest son.  The things Todd says just melt your heart.  In honor of my favorite hitting the airwaves again I did the cutest mani!  When I first saw this Bundle Monster image I said no way would I use that one, yet here I am rocking it out!

First check out my gradient!
It's a neon!!!!!

When I first did this gradient I really had plans for something else until I saw this and the minute I saw this colors together red hot peppers came to mind AND this image from Bundle Monster I never thought I'd use!
The cute kitchen image is from BM308 and the cute peppers are from BM06
I really love this one and am glad I used an image I didn't think I ever would! I even got the stamp of approval from my friend Heather woot!

If you haven't seen it and you love cowboys and good food check out The Pioneer Woman on Food Network.  She's on Saturday's at 10:30 central time!

Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you all have a fantastic day!

Like internet mother, like internet daughter!

Hi Readers!  Today I have a wicked cool mani to show you and guess what??? My internet daughter Rebecca, from Rebecca Likes Nails is doing the same exact mani!  Really it was totally her idea and I loved it so much she let me steal it AND then decided we should post together lol!  It's a super cool mani using Lincoln Park After Dark Suede from OPI and then just some black. I couldn't find my striping tape so I used masking tape and holy crap using masking tape is so much easier than regular scotch tape!  Check this one out Readers!
When our friend Julia saw this she said it looked like a dragon's eye!  I asked my camera man what he thought of that and he laughed his butt off and walked away from me the a$$hat!
I think it's really cool!  Suede's are just SO gorgeous with a shiny topcoat!  BUT without it they are such a smooth matte!  I don't know what I love more, matte or glossy lol!
Here's a side by side pic of mine and Rebecca's

Make sure you stop by and visit her today at Rebecca Likes Nails and make sure she's listening to all the saged advice her internet mother gives her LOL!

Do you have any of the OPI Suede's??? I just love them!  I just need Suzy Skis The Pyrenees to complete all the true Suedes!! BUT I'm also lusting after La Pazitively Hot

Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you all have a fantastic day!

My I hate splatter mani!

Hi Readers!  Today's theme for the summer challenge is splatter!  And I hate it!  Splatter, that is.  I tried and tried and tried and tried and tried to do a splatter mani--I had fabulous intentions of doing a great one--neons over foils Whoo Hoo!  Um no.  My splatter really just looked liked drops blobs.  When you have to get up everyday at 5am to get to work there is no way you can spend a zillion hours trying to perfect this talent either TRUST ME!  So today I'm rebelling against splatter--the asshat! For a simple "fake" mani!
Yep foils!  They are fun, they are easy and this looks a zillion times better than the craptastic splatter mani that ensued earlier!
This one is called Fiber Optics, it's a gorgeous purple with holographic stripes running through out!
For the base beneath it I used my Kleancolor metalllic purple and holy cow Readers I've only used metallic purple to stamp with and I never knew how gorgeous that baby was on it's own!  I'm definitely going to be using him for a basecolor in an upcoming mani I'm sure!
If I'd had the time and if wasn't 2am after 17 bazillion failed hours of attempting splatter I might have stamped over this--but the truth be told I was exhausted lol!  That, and the the fact, foils are instant nail art--nothing needed to them to make them look better.  They are super gorgeous on their own!
Here it is with flash
Holo-ee goodness!

I just know my fellow challengers came up with some fantastic splatters so be sure to check them out!!

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you all have a fantastic day!

Oh where have all the Axl Rose's gone?

Hi Readers!  Welcome to my Neon Jungle mani!  A couple of weeks ago I went to visit my bestie, Sandi, and her daughters Cassie and Angel and we did some fun mani's.  Cassie is getting into stamping which is wicked cool!  All the gals got some cool nails and the one I did for Angel gave me an idea.  We did a neon gradient zebra for her and it got me thinking, hey how about a bunch of neon animals?  I must have a fever with all these neon ideas I've been thinking of and coming up with!
Check this one out!
Wow! I love how this turned out!  My favorite is my thumb!
The reptile swear is pretty cool too!

And again I used last year's China Glaze Neons!  You can recycle people lol!

Here's the gradient before I stamped on it
Wicked!

And check out the thumb, how knew gradienting Purple Panic and Turned Up Turquoise would give you a cool purple???
Even got a good one with flash!
The camera man's getting better!
I used a multitude of plates for this one from the 1st and 2nd Bundle Monster sets and my thumb is from DRK-A.  I love how my thumb turned out and I plan on doing a full mani with it later this week I think!

Short and sweet today Readers because it's past my bedtime!

I hope you all have a fantastic day!

Monkey See Monkey Do Monday--LuvMyLacquer!

Hi Readers! Happy Monday!  I had today's MSMD mani pinned for AGES!  I'm so glad I went though my Pinterest board to look check out some stuff I had on there.  I love Pinterest everything you want to see is in one spot for you---AWESOME!
This mani is nice and sweet and simple.  I had forgotten how much I loved to just do one color and then stamp lol!  My gradient obsession might have taken over lately LOL!

I used two Zoya's from the Beach Collection Lara and Arizona and then since I didn't have the glitter Jessica used I did a coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust and stamped using Mash M78

It's summery! It's cute! It's fun! and it was easy!

The beauty of this baby--you can wear something pink OR orange with it lol!

You can find Jessica's original post for it here  and be sure to checks hers out because that glitter was so cool!
