The Digit-al Dozen Does Spooky Days--Happy Halloween!!

Hi Everyone!!! Happy Halloween!  I hope everyone is having a ghoulishy good time and enjoys their weekend!

I hauled out the googlie eyes again because they are just so much fun!
I decided to do some fun mummies sugar spun style for today's mani!
Funny story! I lost a couple of eyeballs in bed last night and a couple more at work.  I had to get some gorilla glue from one of the executive secretaries today. Thankfully she totally understands the importance of well placed mummy eyes.  When I went to lunch I opened my kindle to read a bit and 2 googlie eyes fell out of it LOL!  Must have someone gotten closed up in the kindle when I went to bed.  So there they sat on the desk just staring at me all day!

I hope everyone has enjoyed this weeks impromptu Spooky Days posts and don't forget to enter the giveaway!!  You can find it HERE

The Digit-al Dozen Does Spooky Days--Does this need more salt?

Hi Everyone!  Happy Hump Day to you all.  Oh my lord today has been SO frustrating!  The space bar on my laptop does not work!  It came off and I cannot get it back on!  I don't care how many tutorials on you tube I have watched there is no way this sucker is ever going on again.  So now it lays loose over it and when you type more than 100 wpm that sucker does not stay put!  I   am having a heck of a time with it!  I'm going to just replace the  whole keyboard I think.  Rather my son will be replacing my keyboard. In any case it's driving me nuts!!

So today I tried to do something scary and instead it turned out cute! I was going for a really creepy cauldron but don't think it's too creepy.  Check it out!
How cute is is this????? I used FUN 7 for my cauldron bubbles and then Wistonia 221 for the witch BM224 for my spooky trees and BM04 for the bat.  I added some spiders from MM11
At first I just had the googlie eyes in there and at the last minute I decided to add some spiders!  I think it turned out great!
Great but not scary LOL!  I guess I'm cute with Halloween even when I'm trying not to be!

The Digit-al Dozen Does Spooky Days--I'm batty for you!

Hi Everyone Happy Tuesday!  It's Day 2 for our Spooky Days Halloween week.  Man after yesterday I feel the pressure!  OMG did you see Jacki from The Adventures In Acetone's jack-o-lanterns???!!! They were really glowing!  Everyone is doing a great job so far and yes Vic went creepy with her Annabelle nails gah!  So freaking scary.  When we were kids growing up we used to watch Channel 18 and Creature Feature on Saturday nights.  Tammy did some candy corn nails that totally reminded me of the Creature Feature monsters!  EPIC!

Today I decided to be a cook kid again and matte my nail art.  I remember when I first started doing nails I was not a fan of matte at all but now I just love it!

Here's my day 2 bats & owl nails!
I was showing these off last night at had a squee moment when Sheila from The Pointless Cafe said these might be her favorite of all time! OH MY GOD!  Sheila does amazing stuff by hand so what a freaking compliment!
I had to get creative with these because these trees actually don't exist. I made them up by using part of BM224.  The bats are from BM213 and the awesome owl is from MM38.

Let's go and check out what everyone else has come up with today!

Digit-al Dozen Spooky Days--Kitty Kat!

Hi Everyone!! Happy Monday! Woot it's the week of Halloween!  The Digital Dozen decided to get together for some fun and spooktacular good times!  I don't know about you but I tend to be more of a cute Halloween person rather than one who goes for blood and gore.  I'm kicking off our week with a cute little kitty kat mani!
How cute is this little guy just sitting in a tree waiting for Halloween to come?
Sometimes when I just need some inspiration for nail art I'll look at paper plates and cups online.  I ran across this cute image that inspired my mani
Cute isnt it?!  Had I thought ahead I would have tried to get the haunted house in there but it just didn't happen LOL!

Here they are together, I think I did pretty good!
So there you have it!  I'm starting this week out with the cute!  Let's check out if anyone else is doing cute!

Doubling Down with Darling Diva!

Hi Everyone!  Happy weekend!  This upcoming week is going to be one filled with Halloween I'm sure!  We've had a really nice weekend with lots of sunshine and it actually hit 60 the other day too so nice to be able to have the windows open.  You know these days are coming few and far between.

Today I'm sharing a couple of cool mani's I did all Halloween related with 2 Darlings Diva's.  The good news is Darling Diva is having a 20% off sale today through midnight and I'll be sure to link her store and the code after the pics!

First up is The Immortal a gorgeous holo topper with charcoal flakies.  I chose to wear it alone not over anything and did 2 generous coats.  I just love it!  I did some stamping with my DRK-A plate to  give it a wallpaper look.  Then decided to add some ghosts and a demon to it for that perfect Halloween feel!
Isn't this a stunning holo topper???
I decided to add the ghosts and demon to it just based on the name of the polish LOL!
I think I will try layering this over some of my dark fall polishes--definitely over a dark red to see how it looks

The Immortal is part of Darling Diva's WitchEE Collection

Next up is Are We On Cops?  Which is a charcoal black holo with red micro glitter in it.
My favorite thing about it is definitely the red glitters!

I found this picture on line and that's what I used for my inspiration
How'd I do?
Are We On Cops?  Is part of Darling Diva's The Pageant Collection

Now for the cool part! Darling Diva is having a sale now until Midnight tonight!  If you use the code FALL20 you will save 20% from your order.  She has a new collection out as well The Salem collection all with gorgeous dark colors just perfect for fall

To get to her store go HERE

Thanks so much for stopping by!!! I hope you all have a fantastic day!!

Tutorial Tuesday--Autumn leaves!

Hi Everyone Happy Tuesday!  I'm showcasing another tutorial mani today from my nail crush Sveta Sanders.  OMG I just love absolutely everything she does and I usually say "omg why didn't I think of that??" after she puts something new out.  This is one of the first ones I'd seen after I discovered her and I feel in love with it instantly!  All I had to do was wait patiently for my MoYou  Mother Nature 07 plate.

I decided to use slightly different colors because these are the colors of Fall here.  I went with the super pretty Elevation Streetside NYC and OPI Visions Of Love for my gradient
Believe it or not I had a hard time with this gradient!
Say it isn't so gradient queen but oh yes it was.  I could not do mine the way Sveta did hers I had to improvise!
The MoYou Mother Nature 07 plate is nothing but leaves!  It's fantastic and perfect for an Autumn mani!
I like this gradient look from side to middle how about you all?

If you'd like to see the ORIGINAL TUTORIAL Sveta did check it out here!

I think it's awesome and I just love looking at all her stuff!
This is definitely one gorgeous Autumn mani!

Thanks for stopping by!!! I hope you all have a fantastic day!

Falling for Fall!

Hi Everyone!! Happy Monday!  Saturday night there was frost on my car so I'm going to go out on a limb here and say it's definitely Fall.  That's definitely not a bad thing living in Wisconsin!  Our leaves are changing and it looks so beautiful out.   It reminds me of being a kid growing up and raking up all the leaves which your parents just love until you jump into the piles with your sisters and then they going flying all over the place and you have to rake em up again LOL!  Those were some fun times!

Fall means frosty nights and cool days. You smell the fireplaces going when you walk outside at night.  You visit the local farms for some great squash to eat and pumpkins and gourds for decorating and let's not forget the Indian corn!  Mother Nature did it right with Fall!

Today to celebrate some of the gorgeous colors I get to see everyday I decided to put on my Darling Diva The Arcanist which is the perfect rust linear holo!  It's a stunner!
See!! i wasn't kidding when I said it was gorgeous!
An absolute perfect color for Fall especially with some yellow and orange leaves with Mundo and BM04
Simply divine!

The Arcanist from Darling Diva is part of The Witchee Collection and is still available!  You can find all the great colors from Darling Diva HERE

How are you all feeling about Fall?  Embracing it or fighting against it until the bitter end?

Thanks for stopping by!!! I hope you all have a fantastic day!

The Digit-al Dozen Does Floral--When mani's attack episode 643

Hi Everyone!! Happy Friday!  Today I'm able to combine 2 themes into 1 and 1 of them was not by choice lol!  OMG this is another episode of When Mani's Attack it's happened right here during a Digit-al Dozen week!  I had the very best intentions for this mani.  I worked hard on it last night.  It took me a couple of hours and BLECH! It is awful.  I was going for rainbow roses and instead I got grandma's ugly church dress.
My friend Sara says you should fairy dust anything that doesn't work--not even fairy dust could save this baby!
The real crying shame is I don't have time to take this off and put on something better before I head to the wine tasting fund raiser I'm attending tonight!
Here's the look I was going for!

I guess this just goes to show for every high you have like yesterday's simple blue over dark brown mani something like this baby comes along LOL!  Nothing like reality slapping you in the face!

Looks like I'm going out with a whimper but I bet the rest of my crew isn't!  Let's go check em out!

The Digit-al Dozen Does Floral--All The Cool Kids Are Doin' It!

Hi Everyone!!!  I finally have a floral on today I like!  Stop the presses!!!  Call the Pope!  Can we get this witnessed as a miracle!  I was sitting home last night trying to do something cool and the first mani I tried was not cool.  It was not cool at all. So now here it is getting pretty late AND I have a new book to read so I need to be in bed by 9pm so I can read until midnight (hahaha okay I usually fall asleep around 11) and I was running out of time.  I bought all the OPI Nordic Collection recently and felt bad I hadn't really given any of them the love they deserve so I pulled out the very pretty dark brown creme How Great Is Your Dane? and decided to do something with it.

Thanks to the help of MoYou Princess 14 and Mundo Blue this cute mani came to life!
I had to matte it because that's what all the cool kids in the Digit-al Dozen are doing with their flower mani's!
There is something really striking about dark brown and blue together I think

Thumbie looks so cute!!
OPI's How Great Is Your Dane is a gorgeous dark brown. I can't wait to do some gradienting with this one!
Whew I finally feel good about one!  BUT let's see what everyone else cdame up because I might get knocked down a couple of notches!

The Digit-al Dozen Does Floral--That 70's Swag!

Hi Everyone!! Happy Wednesday!  I'm not going to lie to you all but this floral week is killing me.  I am really not a floral person!  I mean come on!  How many times have you seen me posting some floral mani's????? Not very often that's for sure!  I am just having a really hard time coming up with something that looks great.  I mean come on have you seen the rest of the mani's everyone is doing?  SMH . . . .

I asked my friends the other night what colors would look good with a nice bright turquoise holo and my friend Ashley spouted off hot pink, yellow and purple.  So hot pink, yellow and purple it is!
So the downside to this pretty bright 70's throwback look was it's been pouring cats and dogs out so no sunlight pic for this pretty holo from Darling Diva
This is the pretty Take Down The God Damn Freda Sign from DDP's Pageant Collection.  If you love it you can find it HERE

It's very bright and just plain gorgeous!
My flowers are from CiCi & SiSi and I used the decal method.  I can handle the decal method when it's easy like this one!
I'm going to pop over and get insanely jealous by everyone else's stuff, come with me!

The Digit-al Dozen Does Floral--Black Eyed Susans

Hi Everyone!  Holy cow talk about a wet one! It has been raining since yesterday for crying out loud.  The only saving grace is the fact it's not too cold.  Cold and rainy is an icky combo--this I can live with.  We're supposed to get more rain tomorrow too! YIKES

That being said I decided to haul out a little bit of sunshine and get some more bright flowers on my nail to ward off this wet and rainy weather.  I was able to get the VL3 plate which can be found on Aliexpress through a group buy and this little daisy image is just too cute so I decided to make some blackeyed susan's out of it!
Now this is definitely something sunny and cheerful!
It's really hard to capture the blue of Pacific Blue with my camera though!  This is as close as I could get it!
Let's tip toe through the tulips and see is anyone did any today for our Floral week!

The Digit-al Dozen Does Floral

Hi Everyone!  Happy Monday!  I actually won a Fantasy Football game yesterday AND my mom and I went to see Gone Girl so really great day for me yesterday.  Have you seen that Gone Girl movie?  Holy cow that thing was a real nail biter!  Thankfully I managed to rein myself in and my nails are still intact.

I recently required the very lovely OPI DS Classic from a friend who just wasn't feeling it anymore.  I was so thrilled to snag it as it's truly gorgeous.  It's a great nude scattered holo and it was the perfect backdrop for my floral mani today!
I also used my FUN 7 plate for the lovely flower stamping
I enlisted the "leadlight" technique and filled in the flowers with a lovely deep red jelly polish. Normally I hate jellies because of visible nail line, but they are perfect for doing leadlighting
I do love this combination of nude/brown and red how about you?

I'm stopping over to see what everyone else came up with today!
